Chapter 9: What Am I doing Here?

Brianna's POV:
"She's up" I hear Ashton yell out.

I blink twice then rub my eyes. "Where am I?" I ask.

I lift myself up from the hospital bed I was lying on. My arms had needles in them with my blood in some bags and shït.

"Ashton, what am I doing here?" I ask. My voice getting shakier.

"Bri, relax" Ashton says pushing me softly until I'm lying down. He raises up the bed and moves his chair closer.

"Bri, when you got back home, your dad abused you. Then you ran out and got hit by a car" Ashton says looking deeply into my eyes.

"What-"

Luke's POV:
"This is all my fault Michael! Don't even tell me it's not!" I yell out in the waiting room that was empty with only Michael and Calum in it.

"Dude relax, she's fine" Michael says.

"Fine?! Michael if it wasn't for me she wouldn't be here to start off with!" I yell.

I sit back down into my chair and hit my head against the wall and close my eyes.

"Yo, she's up" I hear Ashton's voice in the distance.

I jump out of my chair and run up to Ashton.

"Can we see her?" I ask.

"Yup"

I push Ashton past me and run straight into the room.

"Bri.." my voice trails off.

Just looking at her, she was in so much pain, and I did it. It was my fault.

"What Luke?" Brianna replies in an annoyed tone.

"Please hear me out. I was drunk I didn't know what was happening... I love you"

I walk closer to her until I could feel her breathing on my lips as I'm about to place them against her she pulls back.

"Luke, I can't just kiss you after this. I can't believe I was so foolish to ever even live with you, now that I'm 18 I can move out by myself, after everything you've done to me I trusted you and frigate you, but not this time Luke, I'm done"

I put my head down a bit and hear the door open again to see a nurse.

"Hello Ms. Brianna, I'm not sure if this is what you want to hear, but your dad has been put into St. Johns penitentiary" the nurse says.

"Yeah..its great news" Brianna replies.

Although he abused her, he was still her father and I know it hurt her knowing he was Ina penitentiary.

"I'll give you two a moment-"

"No, it's fine, can you get Ashton here please?" Brianna asks.

"Yeah, I was uh just about to leave" I say.

I push my lips against each other.

"Feel better Bri" I say as I walk out.

Brianna's POV:
I wasn't sure what to do. Do I call him back? Do I hug him? Do I kiss him- No defiantly not.

He walks out and shuts the door behind him.

"Well you can go back home in a couple of hours we just have to get you cleaned up and ready to go" the nurse says as she walks out as well.

After hours of getting ready to leave, it was about time.

"You ready?" Ashton asks pulling out his hand to help me up.

"Yeah, I'm ready" I reply.

He pulls me up and hands me a coffee.

" I now you like this kind from Starbucks" Ashton says blushing.

I laugh and thank him.

"So where are you planning on going?" He asks as we're walking out of the hospital.

"Well I'm going to buy a new place, probably an apartment" I say.

"Wait! Aren't you exited?"

"Exited? Exited for what?" He asks.

"For your opening shows!" I reply.

"Yeah, yeah I guess"

"You should be more exited than that!"

"Anyways! Need help looking for an apartment? We can go to my place and look for abut then we can drive back and pick up your stuff and move out"
