Zane's perspective:
She's beautiful... I thought to myself as I gently parted her hair to the side, and she still slept. Even though it had been a couple of hours, she was still out of it. With her looks... why is she insecure about herself?
"Wait. Please don't. Please..." Meghan spoke as she shivered and seemed frightened. A nightmare it seems...
"Angel, wake up." I shook her a little bit before she surprised me
"..."
"Wait! Oh, Zane. I'm so sorry!" Meghan apologized as I was currently recovering from her headbut. Note to self... avoid getting hit by those...
"It's no problem." I assured her softly while holding her
"You had a nightmare?" I asked softly
"I did, but it's nothing bad."
"It was pretty serious, Meghan."
"What do you mean?" She asked while I wiped away a tear that trailed down her left eye
"Was it me?" I asked her while staring into her irises. Remembering what Craig said, I need to be vigilant. I don't want to be the source of her pain.
"No..."
"Stop lying to me angel. Tell me the truth." I told her seriously, her cute and shocked face hurting my soul currently
"It... it was..." She spoke in a shameful manner
"Hey, its okay. I just... I need to know." I assured her gently
"Zane, are you really okay with a woman like me? I know that there are better options out there."
"Don't say that again." I told her seriously
"None of them are nearly as hot and built as you. None of them are mentally as strong as you. I love you and no matter what happens, I will be there." I spoke with conviction and after doing so, I felt her loosing her body up.
"Just please tell me angel. You're harming me more than you know right now." I told her sadly
"Zane..." She spoke as she reached for my face, but I purposefully moved away from it to get her to confess more.
"...."
"Okay." She started gently as she sat up and I stared back into her beautiful blue irises.
"I am insecure about you... and I admit it. I... have dreamt that other female operators such as Taina, or Grace, or Aria, or even Elzbieta have taken you away from me. I dreamt that you would die protecting me. I dreamt that you got tired of me and abandoned me..."
