Kayden's eyes felt heavy as he tried to concentrate on his work from being up all night.

"Morning Kayden how was your night?" Michael said shaking him out of his coma. Kayden could feel his palms getting sweaty from just being around Michael as he stood in front of him just over 12 feet tall, his presence making him feel like he was back in school talking to the principle like he was in trouble.

Kayden just started working for Michael as his assistant a few weeks ago but had been working for the firm for just over two years as a paralegal before his current position opened up. Michael was the lead named partner at the firm and was known for being the best around, so when the opportunity to work for him directly, even if his title would change to an assistant he went for it, making sure during the interview to point out that because of him being a paralegal he could do more for him then just keep his schedule organized.

Kayden knew it was going to be an up-hill battle to get the job because he was competing with a large amount of people. Kayden's largest worry was that being a dwarf that was only 3-foot-tall that he was going to be overlooked because he knew in society height goes a long way. Kayden nearly fell over when he was called into Michael office and told the job was his and that it even came with a small raise.

Kayden composed himself and replied, "I was hoping for a quit night, but a pipe broke in my apartment, and I was dealing with that most of the night. More important though is I got what you asked done before leaving last night and I have all the paperwork on all Mr. Browns past patents you requested. I am guessing that you need to review those for the new one you're working on for him?"

"Sorry to hear about your night Kayden but no, those documents are for you to review, it's important for you to know the history of my clients. I would like you to spend time reviewing those today preferably before Mr. Brown arrives."

Kayden looked at the boxes on his desk and started digging in right away. He knew Michael had a busy schedule and so he figured it would be best to let Michael get to work. Kayden smiled to himself as he watched the women in the office stare at his bosses' butt when he walked into his office only for them to move on with their day as when he sat down.

Kayden worked his way through the documents at times needing to walk on his desk to move around the boxes and get to other paperwork. Kayden learned that Mr. Brown runs a multi-million-dollar company that makes diapers and other baby products. His company's success grew from the many advancements made to diapers and other products which Mr. Brown patented which lead to his company's products being household names. Patents alone is not what made Mr. Brown's company a household name though it was his marketing team. Kayden could even remember some of the commercials and adds when coming across specific patents.
