No surprise Kayden didn't sleep well and woke up to his alarm feeling more exhausted than when he went to sleep. The first thing he noticed was how full his bladder felt and that if he didn't get to the bathroom right away, he would be cleaning up another leak in his apartment. He got up quickly and made his way to the bathroom after making it up his makeshift stairs to get to the toilet, his bladder decided it wasn't waiting any longer and released just as he sat down.

Feeling better after avoiding having an accident he took the rest of his clothes off and jumped in the shower so he could get ready for work. He would normally have some alone time with himself in the shower, but it was going to be a busy day in the office and he knew he had to be there early, so he quickly cleaned up made some lunch and headed out a little earlier than normal to catch the bus to work, not realizing he didn't grab his jacket before leaving his apartment.

The bus ride was short which gave Kayden some extra time to stop off at the firm's library to pull some books on laws involving landlords and tenants. He found two books that he thought could be helpful and figured out the rest he could look up online. He had to make two trips to get the books back to his desk successfully with some time to spare before Michael arrived.

Michael arrived with his usual coffee in hand and quickly noticed the law books on Kayden's desk. "Is everything going ok with your apartment I remember you said something about a water leak?" Michael asked with genuine concern in his voice.

Kayden didn't want to bother Michael but was relieved to her Michael seemed willing to help if he needed it. "I might need your help later, but I would like to try to handle this myself. But I will let you know if something changes."

Kayden could see Michael didn't seem pleased with the response but he needed to be at a meeting down the hall to introduce himself to some newer associates that have recently started at the firm. Michael made sure to say before leaving "We will be discussing this later" making Kayden feel like he did something wrong by the tone of his voice. Kayden set the law books aside, needing to get his own work done before trying to investigate his own problems.

It was a very busy day in the office the foot traffic seemed to be higher than normal, even the calls were coming like crazy. Michael left him an email before he left the office yesterday which requested that he pull specific low-level cases and print some legal paperwork for him. This really wasn't the type of day he wanted going back and forth from the printer, and then having to climb back up to his desk all day considering he was exhausted from two nights of nearly no sleep.

It took nearly all morning to get all the files Michael requested and to have them laid out nicely on his desk. He looked down the hall to see the door to Michael's meeting was open, which usually meant his meeting was complete. He decided to go speak to Michael to tell him that the paperwork he requested was ready assuming that the paperwork was for the new associates. Kayden nearly fell off his chair and proceeded down the hall hoping no one saw him nearly nose dive into the floor just as two associates came sprinting around the corner knocking him headfirst into a glass wall to a junior partners office causing a large spiderweb crack in the glass.

He let out a quick but loud pitch scream that was overheard by nearly everyone in the hallway and people with their office doors open. Kayden grabbed his head why'll bearing his face in his knees as the tears started run down his face. He just stayed on the ground holding his head for what felt like to him for hours trying not to move or do anything that could make the pain worse.

Michael just happened to see the whole thing happen and headed to Kayden right away. Kayden felt Michael pick him up and hold him close to his chest which resulted in him covering his pristine suit in wet tears and a little snot from his runny nose.
