We are on month 2 of our teaching job.

That we are not getting payed for I might add.

"Hey Miss. Abbie!" One of the percussion members said.

"Hey Rosie, what's up!" I said.

"I was wondering if you and your friends were going to the football game tonight." She said.

"Did you guys learn anything for the football games in band camp, or the first week of school with Mr.Baker?" I asked.

"Yeah that's why I was asking. I was wondering if you wanted to watch us." She said.

"Do you have anyone directing you?" I asked.

"Yeah one of the other seniors are gonna direct us. Her name is Leona." She said.

"Oh ok. I think we can make it." I said smiling.

"Good." She said hugging me then ran to her car.

It was 7 pm and we were in my car driving to the football game.

When we got there we payed for the tickets, and parked.

"I haven't been in this football stadium since graduation." Trinity said shaking her head.

"Let's go." I said getting out of the car.

"Oh Abbie, after the game do you wanna help the percussionists with their drums like old times?" Trinity asked.

"Duh." I said walking down the bleachers.

We sat down and started watching the game.

The band played the traditional band tunes for the stands, and they were amazing.

It was finally halftime, and they played

Diamonds and livin on a prayer.

I guess they didn't have a theme this year.

After the show we decided to go see them.

"Hey guys! You did amazing!" Olivia said.

"Thank you! That means a lot coming from old members. We heard you guys were really good." A trumpet player named Lilly said.

"Your welcome, and really?" I asked.

"Yeah!" She said.

"Well were gonna go sit back down. Have a good 3rd quarter." I said.

After the game we asked the percussionists if they wanted a ride, and because they are percussionists they said yes obviously.

After we reached the bandroom. We told them bye and drove home.
