Meerab knew what she was getting into. She couldn't correct maa begum when she knew about her fake pregnancy. She was not well because of having roadside golgappe but her mother-in-law misunderstood that as her pregnancy. On top of that even Murtasim wasn't there to handle anything. She didn't see him from the time she woke up and when she was awake she got her stomach upset. She knew she was wrong in giving hopes to her mother-in-law but that woman was listening to nobody. She gathered herself to visit hospital with her so that her misconceptions can reduce but she got to know where was murtasim. He went with haya to the village and immediately sprinted towards farmhouse. The sight she caught made her feel nauseous while she wasn't ready to buy any excuses from murtasim. After they were back from village maa begum dropped the bomb on Murtasim about him being dad. He looked towards meerab who was blankly staring at maa begum. At that moment he knew something was wrong. There was a misunderstanding. He took meerab towards his room while haya stayed numb at her place. Mariyam who saw her went towards her.

Mariyam: aise kyu khadi ho haya. Tum khush nahi ho kya?

Haya gave her a stare and went towards her room. Mariyam shrugged herself and followed haya to her room.

Mariyam: mein kuch pooch rahi hoon.

Haya(screeching): nahi hoon mein khush. Samjhi.

Mariyam: tum chilla kyu rahi ho. Aur ye toh khushi ki baat hai.

Haya: mein chilla kyu rahi hoon??mariyam tum jaanti ho ki mujhe gussa kyu aa rahi hai.

Mariyam (smiling): haan jaanti hoon. Isliye pooch rahi hoon. Waise bhi ab toh tumhari zid chod do aur apni shaadi ki tayari karo bas. Maan lo ab meerab tumhari bhabhi hai.

Haya had tears filled her eyes and left the room while mariyam knew this was giving her a reality check. She couldn't take the madness of haya anymore which may lead to the problems.

Other side murtasim made meerab sit on the bed and looked at her keenly. While feeling his stare meerab raised her eyebrows questioning him.

Murtasim: you know whatever happened outside, the news i heard from maa, tell me it's false.

Meerab: ofcourse it's false murtasim. I know you won't believe me but it's not true.

Murtasim (sighing): meerab i believe you. Why didn't you correct maa then?

Meerab: your maa apparently isn't even listening to me. She is not ready for the reality itself. And I was about to visit hospital to let her know the truth but then i got to know you were holidaying with haya alone. So I came to see if you guys are enjoying or not.

Meerab came up with a sarcastic reply while murtasim was gawking at her. She was still stuck at that matter and not letting it go.

Murtasim: you do know I told you that I was just checking her eyes. It was not that important to discuss it right now.

Meerab's anger rose up hearing his explanation. Not important?? Her husband being with his cousin in such a position where she was all over him was not important to him. She turned her face away from him to control her anger.

Murtasim: whatever now let's go and clear this misunderstanding. We cannot let her to spread this news.

Meerab: and why do you think I will do that?

Murtasim: what? Meerab are you mad? You know this is not right. We cannot let her to spread this lie and act indifferent.

Meerab: I am not saying anything murtasim. Let her assume whatever she wants.
