These past few days Mike,Dustin and El kept hanging out without me and luke so it was just me and him. And now we're best friends! it kinda hurts that Mike hangs out with dustin instead of me
But that just means he's maybe asking dustin how to ask me out!

You may think I sound delusional right now, but I'm not- then why else would he be hanging out with dustin and eleven without me? Oh and Lucas of course.

"I love Mike, he's so handsome and nice!" I blurted out happily. "Will Byers if hes so handsome and nice why doesn't he spend time with you? " Luke said rolling his eyes. he looked annoyed and.. Hurt that I said that? No, I must be overthinking.
"Oh shut up.. He's probably just waiting for the right time and then confess to me" I smiled happily. he looked hurt again but just laughed at how delusional I was being.
"Psh whatever Will, Its so boring in here, c'mon let's go out to the woods. " he smiled. "Wait but-" I said before he pulled me outside the house. Before we knew it, me and him were running outside into the wilderness, laughing happily.

I honestly liked spending time with him and him only. Wait- what am I thinking? I can't like luke.. I like Mike and doesn't he like Max? Plus I don't think it would work out.. Will stop making yourself sad and enjoy your time with Luke. We ran and ran into the forest. laughing and discovering some worms we never seen before. "Look at this" he said, I turned around to look and..

OH MY GOSH. HE WAS HOLDING A UGLY LOOKING WORM. "AH- GET THAT THING AWAY. " I screamed. "whyy I think it likes you, you wanna hold it? " he laughed as the worm kept moving around. I felt disgusted.

He was moving the worm closer to me when the worm somehow jumped onto my.. CLOTHES. "OH MY FUCKING GOD LUKE GET THIS UGLY WORM OFF ME! " I panicked. "Calm down it's not gonna do anything to you. " he said calmly, WHAT DOES HE MEAN CALM DOWN IT'S  CLINGING ONTO ME FOR DEAR LIFE. I felt my eyes start to water.. I hate bugs. so fucking much. "woah.. Will are you crying? " he asked me, I looked at him and he had a concerned look on his face.
"Look, look don't worry I got it off.. See? " he smiled and he picked up the worm and threw it away. Without thinking I hugged him, and surprisingly, he hugged me back. And didn't push me like how Mike would when I tried to hug him and said "I'm not gay dude.. " but Luke just.. Hugged me back. He makes me feel warm and safe in his arms. "Are you okay Will? I didn't mean to make you cry.. " he said with a apogolic tone. I looked at him with watery eyes.
Now that I thought about it. He was way better than Mike. He was way more handsome, he was way more caring, he was way more funny and, he actually made me feel safe. a teardrop fell down my face again and he cupped my cheek with his hand and wiped the tear away. Without thinking I stupidly kissed him. oh shit. What was I doing? This is so wrong, he likes Max I like Mike.. But it feels so right. He kissed back and placed his hands on my waist as I wrapped my hands around his neck.
after a few seconds we stopped the kiss and looked into each other's eyes. "Will.. I know you like Mike and you think I like Max, but honestly I like you Will. " he said. now I understand why he looked hurt. How could I been so blind? "Luke.. I like you too. " I smiled. He smiled back and our lips reunited again.
