FIRE AND STREAMS

Jeonghan woke up to someone stirring. He opened his eyes and looked around himself. He was still under the dragon's wing, wrapped carefully and protectively in his arms. He slowly sits up and stares at the big deity.  Joshua was sleeping soundly, eyes closed with smoke coming out of his small nose as he snores. Jeonghan chuckles, he was so cute. Now if any person saw him calling a dragon cute they would've called him insane, and maybe he was, but in his eyes Joshua seemed so adorable like this. No matter the body, if personality is adorable, the cuteness will show anyway.

Jeonghan muses gets cut off as a yawn makes it's way up his throat.."damn it was a Peaceful sleep." He mutters under his breath careful not to wake the dragon up, but to no avail the dragon opened his eyes. He yawns cutely and Jeonghan again chuckles. "Good morning." He greets to dragon, who nods his head and stands up completely.  "Let's go and eat something before continuing our journey." Joshua says walks ahead, Jeonghan pouts at the lack of communication and attention from the beautiful deity, he doesn't know why he wants his attention so bad, but he does. "Okayy"  he says dragging the 'y' at end.

They both walk for a while and soon reached a cottage hidden between wild trees. "Woah! I didn't knew you had something like this hidden." Jeonghan comments looking at the cottage. It wasn't too big but wasn't too small either. It had vines wrapped around it all, with small garden-which had kind of flowers Jeonghan never saw before-It also had a small stream at the left side of garden. The chipping of birds could be heard easily. The scent of flowers and water made Jeonghan's senses at ease.

"I used to live here before turning into a Dragon."  Joshua says taking him out of his trance. Jeonghan wides his eyes for a second, but then softly smiles, "that's nice to hear. Your house's pretty " dragon doesn't says anything as he gestures the Prince to go inside. Jeonghan nods and makes his way to door. He stops at the door step and looks back at the dragon.

"Do you want me to make breakfast for you too?" He asks.
"What?"
"Do you want me to make breakfast for you too?" He repeats.

And Dragon looks appalled for a second but then grins, not fully, just a hint and then huffs. "Hmph! Do whatever you like." Jeonghan grins. "Off to the duty sir~" he salutes and walks Inside. The first thing-which comes in Jeonghan's mind upon seeing the house from is homey.
The house looked so homey and comfy. The small leather sofa sitting perfectly Infront of large windows, with a coffee table Infront of it. The left wall had a big fireplace placed in wall, with decorations on top. The right wall was rather decorated more colorfully with plants and all.

He walked further inside and saw a small, not that small but yeah a small kitchen. There were vines and plants everywhere on the wooden shelves. Herbs and spices stored in glass bottles. But what caught Jeonghan's eye was that the whole house was cleaned. Like glass cleaned. There wasn't a speck of dust or shit. He flinches hearing the wooden tile under his feet crack from behind and almost screams but takes a relief breath when he sees the dragon. Wait dragon?

"How the Fuck you fit in here?" He shouts, Fuck princely rules and notions. "Hah, I've shrinked"  Joshua says as if it wasn't that much of a big deal. But then again, what was more big deal than a taking dragon?
"Woah. Well that settles why this house is clean. But can you really lift a broom?" Dragon frowns at him. "I mean your hands are kinda small." Jeonghan tries to stiffle his giggles at the offended face of dragon deity. "Nothing's difficult for a magical being." Joshua sasses. "And I want my breakfast in 10."  He walks back in living room, leaving Jeonghan standing there shocked.

"Wow, what days have about come. A prince getting ordered." He complains.  But moves towards surprisingly full cabinets and starts working on breakfast.
After breakfast both the dragon and prince were lounging in the lawn under the sun rays when a question popped up in Jeonghan's head. "Hey Joshua." The dragon flares his nose at being addressed. "What?"
"Do you think that I would be able to kill the witch?"
"Why won't you? I mean you're the chosen one, ain't you? You have the mark." Jeonghan Humms. "But what if the sword consider me weak? I mean I have trained alot. And am good at the welding Any type of weapon but, what if I won't be able to make it. I don't think I'm a great candidate for it. What if when time will come and I can't do it?"

Joshua stays quite for a minute. Possibly thinking to answer his insecurities Nicely. "It's not a matter of if you can or can not. It's if you give up or not. That's all that matters. No one will remember if you defeated the witch or not but they all will remember your effort in doing so. And they also will remember if you run away." Dragon says and gets up. Stretching, which Jeonghan didn't knew was possible for him. He turns towards the prince again.

"It takes guts to not give up. Not everyone can do it. You think the chosen ones before you were strong and shit. No, not everyone but they had guts, to not give up. They knew if they didn't step up no one's going to save their loved ones. So, when you say that you can or can not. It doesn't matters. Because what matters is if you'll run away or die trying." Jeonghan just stares at the dragon as a question deep settles in his bones.

"Think before taking a decision. It's yours anyway." Joshua says starts to walk. "Now let's go, we have to continue our journey. Think on the way." Jeonghan nods and gets up, still lost in thought as dragon sits before him. Getting on his back they both continue their journey, together.

All the time only one thing kept on ringing in prince's head. 'Did he had guts? To not run away?"

Sorry for all the wait and shit. I've been so fucking busy this whole month that I don't even know it passed so quickly.

We have just moved houses so it was all so busy. Sorry once again.
I've been feeling like a shit for whole this month. So demotivated and frustrated. So looking forward to your comments, because they make my day and comfort me.

Btw, My anime watcher readers. Are you guys watching solo leveling. It's a banger ain't it?
