BLOOMING FEELINGS

It's been hours since they once again started their journey. According to Joshua the place was far and hidden from naked eye. So It would take them one more week to actually reach the place where the sword is kept sacred.... If you ask Jeonghan how he was feeling about all of this, then he would reply with 'Nervous yet excited' for him the journey with Joshua was exciting. But at same time he was nervous and doubted his capabilities to able to defeat the witch.

"Say, Joshua. Is there anything you wish for?" Jeonghan randomly asks. Now getting bored of riding the dragon. It was no doubt that he was enjoying it. After all it's not any other day you get to ride on a Talking Dragon's back. But the lack of conversation made Jeonghan bored. "Why'd you ask?" Joshua boredly replies. Seemingly not interested in telling Jeonghan what he wants. "Just so." He says back and leans on dragon. Jeonghan nuzzles on Joshua's scales and Joshua feels his skin heating up. "Hey! You okay? You're skin's heating up." Jeonghan immediately says, feeling the heat. Joshua shakes his head.

"I'm fine. Remember I'm a dragon. It's common." Joshua says, lying straight through his teeth. Knowing very well that this heat was because of certain someone snuggling and nuzzling onto him. Joshua didn't knows why, but since he's met Jeonghan he's felt weird. Jeonghan's been nothing but nice to him. He treats him as if he is a human being. He snuggles and nuzzles into him, talks to him every night before sleeping. He calls him cute and beautiful. And all of this makes Joshua's heart race against his ribcage.

"I-i wanna see fireworks someday. With my beloved one." Joshua says after sometime. Being a guardian for so long, had taken many things away from him. And it does nothing but hurts him. He knows that chances of this wish coming true are so low. No one can fall in love with a dragon after all. Especially since they don't know what the human behind this big shell looks like. "Hmm, then come to my kingdom after all this mess. I'll see fireworks with you. We quite daily light 'em up." Jeonghan doesn't seems to get what he was saying. But it brought a heavy blush on Joshua's cheek, with thousands of butterflies in his stomach..

"W-What do you wish for?" After gathering himself back, Joshua asks. "Other than happiness of your kingdom." He adds.
"Ahhh, hmm? I quite don't know. But if I have to wish for something right now. It would be that you can gain back your real self again." Jeonghan smiles, so bright that Joshua feels he's going in trance. How can someone be this selfless? This nice? This kind? This loveable. Joshua wides his eyes. he has never felt these emotions before like how he is feeling right now. But there is no doubt, it's just like those fantasy his mother used to sing to him. He knows he's falling and he's scared. Because Jeonghan might be a good guy, but he won't fall for a dragon.

The rest of journey goes silently, Jeonghan makes small conversation now and then, Joshua answering back in equally small words. Soon the night came and they decided to rest.

Jeonghan yawned as he stared up at the sky. Yet again seeing the Constellations he has never seen before. He can't help it but look at the night sky again and again, it always makes him awee in wonder. He glances beside him and sees the deity sleeping soundly. Soft snores coming out his mouth as smoke flared from his nose. And Jeonghan finds it so adorable. Something Jeonghan has never saw himself feel before. There's no doubt that as a prince he had met many beautiful princess, noble ladies and even pretty village girls. But he never felt his heart going so fast in an inhumane speed.

He never felt an urge to protect someone so much before, to make someone's dreams come true so much before. He feels so much that it hurts, and the most magical part is that he feels all of this for a magical creature itself.

Who would've thought the great prince would fall in love with a guardian deity?

Well way to go, he just did. And he knows there's no turning back. Now all he wishes is for all of this mess to get cleaned soon, so that he can confess his feelings and just be with him-who's face he still doesn't know what looks like. But looks never mattered to him in first place. Because all that matters is the personality and nature. And one thing for sure Jeonghan knows is that, Joshua an angel by that.

Anddd here comes the ending of this chapter...
You're must be wondering why they fell in love so fast? But isn't that how Disney movies are? Like they fall in love just by hearing the princess sing?? How does that even happens?

Btw, sorry for slow updates. I'm kinda busy, and kinda having a writer's block. But don't worry I won't abandon this fic. It's just a few chapters away from finishing..as I don't see the point of stretching it.
