" how could you....." she said.
"how could I? I replied.
" idiot, couldn't you see? Didn't I show enough? Wasn't it obvious enough? " she said again.
" till other women working with us think I was obsessed with you. That makes me feel like I'm a psycho " she added on.
" Sarah... I don't have any feelings for you. I'm sorry that I made you have false hopes, i actually didn't want to hurt your feelings by confronting you about it "
i told Sarah.
" and you think that would make me feel any better?? You jerk!" Sarah screamed in my face and swung her tote bag across my face before making her escape to the lift.
I was so tired and that swing from Sarah's bag nearly knocked me out as it made me drop to one knee and my head concussed. I got myself back on my feet and closed the door before locking it. I dragged my feet to my bedroom and just yeeted myself from the bedroom door to my bed.
*skips to following morning*
I woke up to my S20's call ringtone that was blasting annoyance throughout my room. I picked up the S20 and realized that It was Mina calling me and it was already 9.30am.
Before I could pick up the call, the dial ended. And then it hit me,
" OH SHIT!" I cursed myself
I had a flight that afternoon. I immediately called Mina while packing up the stuff I needed for that flight to Los Angeles at 5pm later on in the day. I was gonna come back to Singapore only in 4 days time on my next flight. I had Mina's contact under speed dial so I immediately had to tell her that I was going to be gone for a few days.
" hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii babe, are you finally awake?" Mina asked.
"I'm getting ready to go to work, princess, I'm so sorry. I forgot to tell you that I was going to fly to LA for a total of 4 days. The flight is at 5pm, Anyway where are you now?" I told her.
" I'm at home.... I'm not sure how I feel about this but it's your job so I'll understand it soon enough. Since your flight is at 5pm, can you make time for me? I want to see you before you go " Mina pleaded to me.
" I'll see you at Changi Airport terminal 3 Starbucks at 2pm, you know where that is right? " I asked which Mina answered with a muffled sound.
" I won't lie that I will miss you alot too, the past few days have been very amazing and I want to make more of you and I. See you later princess, don't be late! " i said before ending the call
I took a quick shower and got into my Singapore Airlines uniform, and called for a taxi instead of driving to the airport. Time check, 12.15am, i will have to report in to the staff lounge first before making my way to immigration.
*fast forward to 2pm at Changi Airport Terminal 3 Starbucks*
I had ordered an Americano for Mina and a double chocolate Frappuccino for me. While I was waiting at the table for Mina to arrive, I wondered about how people actually drink this Americano crap as I find it to be really bitter. While being lost in my thoughts, my eyes were closed by the soft palms of a woman. From the scent of her skin, i knew who it was,
" Mina..." I called her out.
" Hii boo, sorry I was slightly late by 3 minutes. I must say, you look really good in uniform ; actually that's really hot...." Mina said with an erotic tone while biting her lips.
" princess, please control yourself. We are in public, and I'm about to work soon. I can't get down and dirty now.... ''I said.
" such a mood wrecker... " Mina sulked while sipping her Americano.
" My girlfriend looks so beautiful today, it's the first time I've ever seen you wear anything other than my clothes or a dress. " i tried complimenting her to make her look at me.
" I'm just so basic today but I'm always pretty, what are you talking about?" Mina firmly said with confidence.
I just smiled at her in reply. I was about to finish my Frappuccino when Mina took my attention by touching my hand.
" Babe, look over here" Mina said while holding the phone in her left arm.
I walked over to her and put my arm around hers and we both smiled as the timer counted down.
"another one please babe?" Mina requested and I nodded my head in response.
This time she leaned into my chest and I kissed her on the forehead. When the 5 second timer finished counting down, Mina immediately checked the pictures we took and I returned to my seat, and my phone got a notification.
The notification read, "Mina 💕 sent 3 photos"
" hold on a moment, we took 2 pictures but you sent me 3? " i asked Mina.
" the 3rd one is a selfie of me, so you can *coughs* *coughs* hehehehe" Mina said.
I just winked back in reply. I checked my watch and it showed that it was going to be 3pm soon. I told Mina that I had to make my way to immigration right now to clear airport customs. Mina quickly finished her drink and followed me hand in hand to immigration counter.
" i can't believe that this is goodbye" Mina said with a sad look on her face.
"it's only 4 days' princess, but you can video call before you sleep and when you wake up because i want to be the last thing you think of before you sleep and the first thing you think of when you wake up" i said.
" awww my boyfriend is so sweet, have a safe trip. I love you...." Mina said before planting her lips on mine.
I returned the kiss and said " I love you too Mina, I'll see you soon and I'll get you a gift okay?"
Mina nodded her head in excitement and slowly we let go of our hands as I headed into immigration and Mina was outside the counter. I showed my Airport pass and travel documents to immigration staff and went to the transit area, I managed to catch a glimpse of Mina looking around like a meerkat to find me.
"She's so adorable," I said to myself and smiled.
I was walking to the gate when I saw who was heading the cabin crew for today's flight.
" OH FUCK ME..." I cursed....
