16 hours later, Arrivals in Singapore
" BOO !!! " Mina shouted as she got out from hiding near the corner wall and jumped into my arms.
" MINA MY LOVE !! " i replied.
Turns out she planned to fetch me from the Crew office at basement 2 of Changi Airport Terminal 2 as a surprise.
" I was gonna drive to your house instead but hey lets head back to my place first and have dinner later on alright? I'm jet lagged as hell " I said .
Mina nods and we head to the staff carpark.
Fast forwards to mid-day
I woke up to Mina cursing while playing Call Of Duty again , i got out of bed and went to Mina who was storming off in frustration.
" I hate Makarov " Mina sighs.
" He's Spetsnaz , He won't be easy. " i replied as I grabbed her hand into mine.
" What's that ? " Mina asked with her head tilted.
" Special Forces; Anyways i have something for you " i hinted to Mina as i reached for my bag on the counter.
" It's yours " , I handed the Wrapped box to Mina.
Mina unwrapped it quickly and saw the logo under the wrapping, she looked up in utter shock and was speechless.
I opened the top cover for her , revealing the diamond necklace I got for her and Mina put her hands on her face hiding her glee and excitement.
I signalled her to turn around so I could put it on her neck for her.
" i hope you like it "
" Like it ? I love it ! " Mina exclaimed.
I just smiled and ran my hand through her hair, slowly caressing it...
If only she knew... what she is to me...
She doesn't have to know about that part of me...
" I love you Mina , thank you for making me realise that it's worth it . "
I don't know what happened but I just uttered those words out. For once, my tongue and eyes couldn't lie anymore.
Mina's POV
" What the hell was that ? He's.... Suddenly crying...? Oh god. What is happening? "
His legs gave way and he fell to the ground.
I dropped down to his eye level and placed my hands on his cheeks.
" Jino dear... what's wrong ? Tell me, let me comfort you... "
" I never thought I would fall again. " Jino replied.
His words sounded sharp but intended for him and not me. We had been dating for about 5 days now, and i don't know much about him yet. I thought back on what could be wrong and i remember that call I had with him while he was in L.A , he was drinking... and he sounded... different.
" I'm sorry , I just feel relieved that's all. You're here and that's all that matters. " Jino said.
" Tell me everything but take your time. I wanna know more but I won't push you. Now, get up and shower with me , you stink " I teased him.
Jino nodded and stood up cupping my hand in his.
Jino's POV
" I will tell you. With time. But not now. It's still too early. I'm not the guy you think I am , but I will be better now you're here. " I thought to myself.
