Nora
The dungeons were as cold as you would expect them to be. It did not help that they were located, conveniently underwater.
the whole way there Billy had complained to Nora about how cold it was, and how she would love to punch whoever was behind the location of the potion classroom.Nora tried to explain it was for the benefit of keeping the ingredients at usable condition and to help the potion brewing process but after she needed to duck for the 3rd time today from a flying book that was directed towards her head she figured shutting her mouth was the best decision.
Billy was resting her head on the cold, dark wooden table. While Nora was scribbling some stuff down in her sketchbook the classroom was filled with the soft chatter of students, who were waiting for the professor to arrive.Currently Nora was trying to ignore Billy, who would not shut up about the previous 'turtle/chameleon' debate.
She looked more tired than usual, her fiery red hair seemed a bit duller and her eyes sported heavy eye bags, she was a lot angrier than usual but Nora Didn't say anything, the last time she tried the girl threw her alarm clock at her head.... Even more, they can stay underwater for 4-7 hours!, how would a chameleon"—she said with a very condescending tone— "be cooler than that?!"
Finally having enough, she put down her pencil and turned towards Billy "disagree" she said simply.
"Disagree?"Nora nodded with a blank face.Billy cracked her knuckles with a smile, the kind that tells you to run away when it appears, "firstly, you can't 'DiSaGreE' with facts!, turtles are just way cooler! Admit it! They are green they ar-"
"Chameleons are green too!" She fired back, Billy only crossed her arms and leaned back in her chair, "I meant pretty green, not the yucky kind".
Nora gasped, no one disrespects Izzy like that!, she brought the chameleon out of her hair (gently) and placed her in front of Billy, "say it to her face!" In her anger her accent became a little stronger.
Billy looked Izzy straight in the eyes, she and the chameleon having a staring contest but after a few minutes she just slumped back onto her chair, defeated. "Fine... I guess Izzy is the exception."
Nora smugly fixed her glasses before putting Izzy on her shoulder, letting the chameleon do her own thing.
After the fight died down they could no longer ignore the agitating voices of Martha and Anna mocking them (as usual), sometimes you had to wonder if that was the only thing the had going In Their life (because it sure felt like it) but before they could continue the door slammed open dramatically and through it came a billowing black cloak.
The figure got to the front of the class before sharply turning towards the students, sporting an intimidating glare.
"There will be no foolish wand waving or silly incantations in my class" he said with a threatening tone, assessing the classroom slowly.
"You are here to learn the fine art of potion making, I can teach you how to enchant the mind and bewitch the soul, but I do not expect of you to appreciate the fine art of potion making" he finished his speech.
'Douche' Billy thought glaring back at him.
'Inspiring?' Nora thought with a slight question, while she understood where he was coming from (his speech reminds her of one of Thorne's many speeches) he was a bit too aggressive.
After that they went straight to work, divided into pairs according to their seats, most complained about the immediate work but Nora was excited, she was very familiar with the process and couldn't wait to brew some more. (since she had no way to continue since summer).
