▪︎ Parthvi's POV

" पार्थवी, आप हमसे दूर रहिए। "

" Parthvi, aap humse door rahiyein."

" Parthvi, stay away from me. "

His stern words echoed through the vast kitchen as he walked away without even sparing a glance, leaving me bewildered and shocked.

For a moment, I struggled to comprehend his reaction. What had triggered such an intense response from him?

I mean, seriously, I playfully brushed his cheek, and he's acting like I committed a heinous crime. It's not like a touch from me is some kind of contagious disease that he needs to avoid.

Back in college, boys would line up just for a chance to shake my hand, but I'd nonchalantly dismiss them with a haughty attitude.

Yet here I am, Parthvi Uday Singh Agnivanshi, the Princess of Shauryagardh, attempting to engage in normal conversation and make him feel comfortable, and he responds with this unnecessary attitude. Really?

Despite the frustration from him ruining my third kiss, I choose to be civil and mature about it, chalking it up to an accident.

But, he doesn't seem to grasp who he's dealing with. If he's the Commander in Chief of the Shauryagardh army, I am also the Princess of Shauryagardh and I don't give a damn to just anyone, let alone freely share my attention.

With determination in my voice, I declare, tossing my hair with an air of attitude and an angry glare, " I'll make him realize who I am. I will show you who I am. If I don't compel you to kneel before me, then my name, Parthvi Uday Singh Agnivanshi, wouldn't mean a thing."

With boiling anger coursing through my veins and determination fueling my steps, I stormed out of the kitchen, intent on teaching him a lesson. My eyes scanned the long corridor, searching for any sign of him, but he seemed to have vanished into thin air.

"Does he walk or fly? His speed is like the wind. How can he traverse this lengthy corridor so effortlessly in just a few seconds?" I muttered to myself, frustration mounting as I surveyed the vast expanse before me.

As I cautiously made my way through the dimly lit corridor, a shiver of fear ran down my spine. Despite the flickering glow of the wooden torches lining the walls, the darkness seemed to envelop me, leaving me feeling vulnerable and out of place.

Despite my determination, I treaded cautiously through the corridor, a hint of fear lingering in the darkness. Wooden flames flickered sporadically, offering little solace.
