Inside the hotel, a hushed silence hung in the air, broken only by the sound of rain pouring outside. Everyone in the hotel was fast asleep. Apart from the hotel's cherished bartender and the king of hell,they sat together on the lobby sofa in peaceful silence, savoring the soothing melody of raindrops outside. Lucifer turned his gaze toward his half-awake lover, noticing his hat missing from its usual place on his head, revealing his tousled hair and drowsy eyes, as he scooted closer to his lover in search for warmth.
Husk must have notice him scooting closer despite his drowsiness. He rests his head on Lucifer's shoulder, as they both cuddle close together. Lucifer hummed as he fell the warmth from Husk's soft fur. Husk started to feel a rumbling coming from his throat. Being too tired to try to stop it, he began to purr as he and Lucifer both fell asleep cuddled up together on the sofa.
