While the sun came up outside, I woke up and sat upright in the soft bed I'd been sleeping in every night for the past eight years. "It's been a week and a half since Kanae and Kyojuro took down the cult they were sent to infiltrate and returned to their homes.", I thought. After getting myself dressed, I came out of the bedroom to see Kiyo on the other end of the hallway. "Good morning, Mrs. Kamado.", she said as I walked over to her. "Good morning to you too.", I answered before joining her in heading to the front door. "Say, Kiyo.", I said. "Yes, Mrs. Kamado?", she asked. "Do you know where Hanako, Shigeru and Rokuta are?", I asked. "No. The last time I saw them was yesterday afternoon.", she replied before Tanjuro joined us. "Sanemi, Genya, Kanae, Hanako, Shigeru and Rokuta took a train to visit the rest of the Shinazugawa family in their hometown for a week.", he said. "When did they leave?", I asked. "Yesterday evening.", he replied. "What about Giyu and Shinobu?", I asked. "They went to go visit his older sister and brother in law for the same amount of time.", he responded. "Why?", I asked. "Because there hasn't been much activity from the demon king or the three remaining upper moon demons since Hanako, Genya, Mitsuri, Obanai, Yuichiro & Muichiro completed the brutal mission over at the village where blacksmiths create the swords demon slayers use in battle at night two and a half weeks ago.", he replied. "A brutal battle during which two upper moon demons were slain.", Takeo said as he joined us. "Takeo, it's been three and a half months since you married Kanao. You better not be having problems.", I replied. "No. She may get angry at times, but other than that, she's calm.", he replied.
