(Kyojuro's point of view)
Just as I turned my body towards the back door of the manor my family and I lived in to go back inside after two hours of training in the yard, I saw Sumiko sitting down on her knees in one of the manor's rooms carefully moving her fingers through her long dark red hair while her eyes were closed. Smiling, I snuck into the room and moved around her. After opening her eyes back up, she noticed me and shrieked. "It'd be good if you told me what the literal hell you're doing, Kyojuro!", she said as I carried her outside after lifting her up. "Oh come on, Sumiko! You haven't been outside during the daytime very much since I bought you here last month for your safety!", I answered. Although she was annoyed, she settled down and leaned her head against my shoulder while I walked over to one of the trees in the yard. I sat upright against it while still holding her and she lightly smiled. "Are you still feeling embarrassment from what happened during our visit to the Sound Estate last week?", I asked. "Yes, but it felt really good to finally soak myself after two whole years of not being able to do so.", she replied. "What do you mean?", I asked. "In case you forgot, I grew up living in captivity, so I couldn't often get any chances to go outside and search for a place I could bathe myself in.", she responded. "Is there anything you know about the upper moon demon whose temple I rescued you from?", I asked. "Quite a lot, actually, since I grew up living inside that damn place. I'll tell you everything I know about him in the morning.", Sumiko replied. Nodding, I helped her get up from the ground and led her back inside.
