The next few days they settled into a routine that felt almost normal, since they were also now teaching a student that knew NOTHING about any subject.

Each morning Percy took Ancient Greek from Annabeth, talking about the gods and goddesses and that kind of stuff that was also teaches at school, mostly. He took with Annabeth also Ancient Greek.

The rest of the day, Percy would rotate through outdoor activities, looking for the thing he was good at. Avra with Chiron's help tried to teach him archery, but they found out pretty quick he wasn't any good with a bow and arrow. And obviously Avra took her chance for letting Percy see that she was one of the best at camp with the bow and arrow.

Foot racing? No good either. The wood-nymph instructors left him in the dust. Avra told the blonde one not to worry about it, they had centenaries of practice. But also laugh because, how could he be slower than a tree?

And wrestling? Forget it. Every time he got on the mat, Clarisse would pulverize me. Avra couldn't laugh at that. She was not strong enough to beat Clarisse, almost nobody was.

"There's more where that came from, punk," Avra heard Clarisse mumble into Percy's ear. She was really pissed of about the toilet moment. Avra couldn't get over it either, it was amazing.

The only thing Percy really excelled at was canoeing, and that wasn't the kind of heroic skill people expected to see from the kid who had beaten the Minotaur. Also Avra and Annabeth exchanged some looks that really said 'he can't be one of the big three'.

the senior campers and counsellors were all watching percy like a hawk, trying to decide who his father was, but it seemed impossible. he wasn't as strong as the ares kids, or as good at archery as the Apollo kids. he didn't have Hephaestus s skill with metal work or Dionysus' way with vine plants.

Thursday afternoon, on percy's third day at camp half-blood. Avra was passing by the arena when the stolls approached her.

"Avy, come on you've got to see this!" travis said, linking his right arm through her left. Connor linked his left arm with her right, "luke's picking percy as his partner for sparing."

while being hauled up by the two brothers Avra said, "now that is a type of embarrassment i'll like to see."

when they reached the arena, luke was showing different thrusts, parries, and shield blocks the hard way with percy. He was getting battered and bruised with every step. "keep your guard up, percy," Avra heard luke tell him, them he whap Percy in the ribs with the flat of his blade. "no, not that far up!" whap! "lunge!" whap! "now, back!" whap!

By the time Luke called a break, Avra jumper into the arena and went towards Percy.

When she reached were the blonde was standing she could see he was soaked in sweat. She stared for a few more moment and cleared her throat.

"Seriously Perseus? You're getting your ass handed on a silver plate"

Percy looked up from the iced water he had between his hands and his blue eyes met the girl's brown ones. He frowned and stepped back a bit. "So now you're gonna tell me you're the best with the sword at camp right?"

Avra smirked at the comment, she actually wasn't gonna do that, because she really wasn't. "Nu-uh, I actually only use my ring dagger or the bow and arrow, so actually I'm not the best swordswoman." She touched the little green gem, smiling.
