The self is not so weightless, nor whole and unbroken
Remember the pact of our youth
Where you go, I'm going, so jump and I'm jumping
Since there is no me without you

Achilles come down ~ Gang of youths

........................-...........................

"Anapnéo, Avra."

Breath. Breath. Breath.

I tried to focus in my breath as Annabeth helped me to stand up. "Avra, are you ok?" I looked to where the voice came from. It was Grover.

"Ye- yes. We have to find him, we have to go to the river." I told them both. But they looked at me as I was crazy. But I knew he was alive, somehow I could... sense him? This was really weird.

"Avra, he probably isn't... I mean... you know..." Annabeth said placing her hand on my shoulder. I shook it off.

"No, I know he IS alive. I'll go and look for him, if you want to come great, if not leave." And with that I went towards the river direction. I could hear Grover murmuring something to Annabeth and then they both followed me.

We walked for a few minutes, and I was afraid that what Annabeth and Grover said would be right. But I really knew... or hoped... he was ok. I pushed through the crowd and saw a news woman talking about the arch thing being a terrorist attack. Wrong.

I turned and saw the boy with blonde curly hair pushing through the crowd I looked at him half angry half relieved. Grover noticed him too and pushed me out of the way to get to him.

"Perrr-cy!" He bleated.

He looked up to our direction and Grover run to give him a hug. He said, "We thought you'd gone to Hades the hard way!"

I stood behind him with Annabeth next to me, I tried to look angry, but to be honest, I was kind of relieved to see him.

There was a big silence and a lot of tension between us.

"We can't leave you alone for five minutes! What happened?" I finally exploded yelling.

"I sort of fell."

"Percy! Six hundred and thirty feet?"

Behind us, a cop shouted, "Gangway!" The crowd parted, and a couple of paramedics hustled out, rolling a woman on a stretcher. She looked like she was mad "And then this huge dog, this huge fire-breathing Chihuahua—"

"Okay, ma'am," the paramedic said. "Just calm down. Your family is fine. The medication is starting to kick in."

"I'm not crazy! This boy jumped out of the hole and the monster disappeared." I turned to Percy who was also looking at the lady, when I realized that she was also looking at him. "There he is! That's the boy!"

Percy turned quickly and pulled me and Grover after him. I grabbed Annabeth by the wrist and pulled her with us. We disappeared into the crowd.

"What's going on?" I demanded.

"Was she talking about the Chihuahua on the elevator?" Annabeth spoke

He told us the whole story of the the chihuahua actually being the Chimera, Echidna, his high-dive act, and the underwater lady's message.

"Whoa," said Grover. "We've got to get you to Santa Monica! You can't ignore a summons from your dad."

I was about to agree with Grover, but we passed another reporter doing a news break, and I  froze in my tracks holding Percy by his arm when the reporter said, "Percy Jackson. That's right, Dan. Channel Twelve has learned that the boy who may have caused this explosion fits the description of a young man wanted by authorities for a serious New Jersey bus accident three days ago. And the boy is believed to be traveling west. For our viewers at home, here is a photo of Percy Jackson."
