After a week, Chase finally lets me out of the house. I finally get to go back to work and have some normal activity to my life again. I couldn't be more grateful for everyone in my life. Kelsey had been by every day along with Paul. Even Marcus and Lucia had come by a few times bringing us dinner.

I've never had such a big support system and it makes me so thankfully that I was finally able to break free from the chains that held me back for some long. One of those chains is about to be broken today.

Today is finally the day that I'm getting the tattoo that I promised Chase for his piercing. I'm really excited but also extremely nervous. We've went over and over every small detail and I've finally completely happy with the design.

Today went smoothly. I was worried that returning to work when be a little bumpy but it was smooth sailing. Like I never left. I've checking out the last customer and all of the guys are cleaning up their stations. Except for Chase. He's printing out my stencil and prepping his station. All of the guys have been giving him crap all day about not messing up my "perfect skin". Chase words from forever ago. Not mine.

He is an amazing tattoo artist and I don't think he could mess it up even he if tried but I have to give him some crap too, right? That's my job after all.

When the costumer walks out, I look up and Paul and he's already smirking. He knows me too well. With a wink, I start in on Chase.

"Chase, baby. You know that I could just have Paul do this right. I mean he is the expert here between the two of you. If you're really worried that much, I'm sure he wouldn't mind to tattoo me. "Isn't that right, Handsome?"

Paul can hardly hold back his laughter. "Sure thing, sweet things. I know my man breaks under pressure."

Chase can't keep his frustration from boiling. He looks up at us with a cocky smile. "All right you too. Cut it out. I know you're just trying to rile me up. Stop stalling, Hurricane. You're not getting out of this."

My smile falters as a swallow.

How does he always know me so well?

I wasn't really trying to get out of it. More like I was stalling. I'm just nervous. It's not like a nose piercing that I can just remove. They're not removing this.

"You got this Say-Say. I'll even hold her hand the whole time. Maybe even give you some kisses to make up for this brute here." Paul can't contain himself anymore and is full on laughing. All the guys have joined in and started taunting of their own.

Chase cuts his best friend a harsh glance and reaches out for my hand, leading me towards his bench. I wore a skirt today for easy access along with some high cute panties.

Once I'm down, Chase gives me one of my favorite forehead kisses and lines the stencil up. I quickly double check to make sure I like the position and give him the go ahead. Paul comes over and true to his word, he hold me hand the entire time. It doesn't hurt as much as I thought would but it's still painful. I'm sure it will be worth it though.

It's not a huge piece and only takes about thirty minutes to finish. All of the guys have just been hanging out to see the finishes piece.

"You did great, baby girl. Go check it out and tell me what you think." Chase helps me and guides me towards the mirror.

It's stunning and exactly as I pictures. The floral and leaves fit perfectly on my hip and I couldn't be more happy with it.  When I thought about my first tattoo, I wanted a phrase. Something that meant be overcoming and starting over but I can't think of anything better than a flower. The blooms wilt and evenly cease to excite but a new but will always grow back and be beautiful.

My life was ugly before I found this new family. I had no one in my corner. I was wilting by the day. Chase helped breathe new life into me and cause my to have this beautiful life that I could never dreamed of having.

"It's beautiful, Chase. It's exactly what I wanted. Thank you." I reach up on my tip toes and kiss his check.

"Enough with all the sappy crap. You're part of the tatted gang now Say. Let's go celebrate!" Leave it to Paul to ruin this sweet moment and turn the whole room into laughter.
