----- October 31st, 2010 -----
It was now the day of the first peace meeting, we had decided to go with the night of Halloween, yet another holiday humans had stolen from the divine realms. Humans had one thing right about the night in a way, for reasons that are beyond on on October thirty first travel between the four realms was easiest. By which I mean most the time it took a Divine level teleportation spell to travel between Realms, but on the night of the thirty first, even an Angel Level spell could in theory do it, although it took a lot of Magical energy to do so. To say this was tense was an understatement, but if things went right it meant the fighting would be over so we'd deal with it.
Currently our coven stood in the courtyard, along with Irimia and Lucifer's daughter. Yuguchi having going through her Embracing Of The New Brood ceremony stood with us. So too did Nill'ia and even Araelia, the only member of our Coven who wasn't here was Elizbeth, but apparently she went to visit her mother on the thirty first every year, so that wasn't surprising. It was going to be our job to act as security for this meeting, as per Raphael's orders, well more accurately our Coven and his would act as security for the grounds. Each respective would be allowed a two body guards in the meeting itself. So most of our Coven wouldn't be in the meeting, along with most of the Roshna Coven. Me and Sammy had been allowed to attend the meeting, in Lucifer's words 'out of diplomatic curtsies it seemed only right the heiress be allowed to attend.
"Everything is all set," Raphael spoke walking out into the courtyard, in his formal uniform.
Unlike us it wasn't a military style uniform but rather royal regalia in all its infernal glory. He wore dress shoes caught in a ash grey. The shirt and trousers were caught in the color of the Roshna coven, which was a sky blue woven of fine Acroiana silk. Over that he wore a long flowing trench coat, caught in the Hades dynasty colors, while attached to the neck line was a fine cloak weaved as if it were made from smoke, with shards of Nexus Crystal sown into it.
"Yes father," Sammy replied.
"Good," Suddenly a magical portal opened.
Standing there were Arch-Commander's Michael's Retainers. A girl that looked like she couldn't be more than sixteen years old, while the other looked to be a few years older. Judging by their power level, they were human, at least I think they were. They were far to powerful for that, I tried to get a read on them but couldn't, it was as if they had some spell blocking my ability to sense their magical level, then again they could also just be Cheribum in which case they wouldn't appear to have a magical power level.
"Little one!" Yuguchi said excitedly running over to the male retainer and hugging him tight.
"Hey Yugu," He replied smiling a little.
"Mr. and Ms. Talsiun, it is good to see you. I take it you are here to check the security arrangements before Arch-Commander Michael arrives?" Raphael asked looking the pair over.
"I am yes," the girl replied walking forward. "Kiem wanted to see his sister before the meeting starts and I can't say I blame him."
"I see me and my Sworn-blood will happily give you a tour..."
"Akionia Talsiun is the name I go by right now, but most just call me Akio." She replied reaching out and shaking Sammy's hand.
"Okay Akio," she wore the combat uniform of a Custodies Veritas Combat Operative, in the grey I'd learned meant she was a Magia, "So tell me if it's not too much of an ask, what Blood line are you?"
That may seem like an idle question but it wasn't, you see Human Magia were a result of humans cross breeding with various different races shortly after they came into existence, meaning that their blood line determined what kind of magic they were actually capable of using. She sighed a little, taking mental notes on the courtyard to see points of weakness and the like.
