Author's note/intro

Hello everyone and thank you for being here! So this ff is going to start from the point in the book where Theo is running away back to New York so I would recommend having read the book (or watched the movie) at least up to that point, before reading this. Otherwise it will make absolutely no sense since I'm not gonna start from the beginning because I don't want or need to rewrite that part. And I'm not going to summarize what happened before (sorry!) because I just want to get straight into the ff. Also, I will do my best to maintain the writing style of Donna Tartt but of course it is inevitable that at least a bit of my own style will show through so just stay with me and hopefully it's not too bad. Also (sorry too many also's lol), I have not read any Boreo ffs (as of literally this minute), nor have I looked up if someone has already done this same thing as what I'm doing (though someone probably has) and I literally had this idea completely on my own bc I was so pissed that Donna made Boris and Theo get separated, especially after they literally (finally!!) had just kissed. Anyway, I am not copying anyone if they have already done this and any similarity between the storylines is purely coincidental and just the result of Boreo fans thinking the same/similarly lol :). Also (last one I promise!), as I'm writing this I have currently not yet finished the book, I'm on page 467 😢, so I will be writing and continuing reading at the same time and once I finish the book I will go back and change anything in the past parts that need to be changed to the outcome of the book. But I don't think I'll need to change anything because the point is for it to be different and I'm past the part where Theo left to New York so that should be fine but idk, if something needs to be changed I will fix it as best as I can. Ok now last thing, please be patient with me, I'm in highschool and have a lot of work to do for school and I also have a life (wait, really?! no way!), and I have mental health issues (depression, anxiety, ptsd, etc) so I'm sorry if the updates will not be consistent, I will do my best to update at least once a week but there will be times where I can't keep to that schedule so please have grace 🙏 and I'm doing my best.
