As Crystal drove home she called Mark to let him know she was on her way, he didn't answer so she  called again just to assure that maybe he didn't see it. Again he didn't answer so Crystal just continued on her way. The office was about 45 minutes away from her home and the corner liqour store seemed like a good idea at the time. She'd go inside to pick up two bottles of wine, and a bottle of Crown Royal Apple, that was Marks favorite. The grocery store was 10 mintues away from the house and she stopped to pick up a few steaks, grapes and cheese to pair with the wine, and some whipped cream.Crystal wanted to try to make up to Mark for the mornings events, she felt as if she had returned the cold shoulder and that wasnt in her nature. As Crystal went to check out her items the cashier looked at her neck and made no effort to hide the face that she was staring at a hickey. Immediately Crystal pulled out her phone and looked into the camera, there it was a big purple hickey showed confidently on her neck that she, at one point in time, was satisfied by someone. She sighed with great disappointment and took her groceries to the car. Once the food was in the car she popped the trunk and pulled out a make-up box, she began to work magic on herself. A dab of concealer here, a squeeze of foundation there, the work was almost done and with a final dust of bronzer the spot seemed to have disappeared from her neck. The evidence was gone of her and Natalies affair and she continued on her trek home.

As Crystal pulled into the driveway she raised an eyebrow inquizzitavely when she realized the garage door wasn't opened ready for her arrival. This was strike one. She didn't bother to park the car  in the garage or grab the groceries as she got out and walked up to the front door, she went to turn the knob but it was locked, this was new to her as they never locked the door until both of them were home. Strike two. Crystal reached for her keys and she began to feel annoyed, she unlocked the door and walked inside. The house was dark except a dim light shining from the guest room. This didnt ring as odd because Mark didnt like to sleep in the master bed alone, he would sleep in the guest room while he waited for Crystal to get home. She payed it no attention as she walked into the kitchen and poured herself a glass of wine and reached into the freezer to grab a chilled glass for Marks Crown Royal. She was walking towards the back of the hall when she heard a small moan, her eyebrow raised as she walked closer. The door was cracked but she could see inside, there he was, Mark was on top of a blonde haired green eyed woman who seemed to be in absolute heaven. Crystal dropped the glasses in amazement, she knew of her infedelities but she was completely unaware of Marks unloyalty. When they heard the glasses fall to the floor and shatter Mark quickly pulled out and his mistress grabbed the sheet to cover herself. "Don't bother, finish your business and ge the fuck out of my house." Crystal spoke calmly and clearly she didn't stutter but they stood frozen in their places as if she hadn't spoke clearly. So she repeated herself "Finish your FUCKING business and get the FUCK out of my house, BOTH OF YOU!" this time she raised her voice, she shook with anger but didn't walk fully into the room. Crystal stepped passed the broken glass and walked into the master bedroom, she began to pack Mark a suit case of clothes. She grabbed an old photo of them when they were younger and still fresh, put it inside the suit case and zipped it up. There was a thump in the guest bedroom and she knew they were getting dressed, she hurried and took the suit case to the foyer and sat it by the door. Mark peeked his head out of the guest room to see if Crystal was nearby, he saw no sign of her and tiptoed out of the room.  Crystal didnt bother to stop him when he attempted to creep passed him in the kitchen, she didnt bother to snatch up Ms.Sweet Lips, she didnt bother to clean up the broken glass, but what she did do was call Natalie when the two of them left. She made no effort to hide her feelings when she broke down and poured out her heart. Natalie asked for the address and came to console her, they talked and held each other on the couch until the sun came up. Mark didnt come back that night, or the next day. Natalie soon made herself comfortable in the place of Crystals seemingly non-existent fiance.
