Ava Lee Kim
I sighed as I entered the room, not caring that I was supposed to take a year off my life or whatever. My eyes danced across the room until they landed on someone, "Will!" a voice shouted from behind me.
"Sorry," I mumbled as I moved out of his way. I decided not to swell on them and restrained myself from eavesdropping on their conversation. I quickly realized that I was by myself and that I hadn't ordered pizza in the first place.
"Ava!"
My head snapped towards the voice, my eyebrows raised. I waved to the tall blonde and his friend. I smiled as he waved me over to their table.
"So, how did you meet little Willy over here?" The brunette asked.
The dirty blonde rolled his eyes, "Shut up Travis."
"What? I genuinely want to know! Is it a crime to want to know who my best mate is staring at and why he's so entranced with her?"
"Yes!"
Laughing at their interactions, I watched as the blonde got up from his seat at the table and shook my hand, "Will Schmidt, nice to meet you." He hesitated," Your name is Ava Right?"
Smiling, I responded, "Yes, Ava Kim. Nice to meet you too, officially."
Slowly but surely, more of Will's friends started arriving. I ended up staying the whole night, even though I knew almost nobody. Probably unsurprisingly, the only person I knew, I didn't even know, I just recognized. I realized that the tall, dark-skinned man at the end of the table was the person that my friend would not stop gushing about.
Although I did think he recognized me, I decided to stay by Will's side the whole night.
