Weeks passed by for Louis and Harry, and they found themselves being drawn closer and closer to each other. Every second of every day they seemed to be together, and when they weren't together they were thinking of then next time they would be. They tried to hide as best they could, but alas, the people of Arendelle weren't stupid nor were they blind, and they saw a difference in their Prince that couldn't be denied.
"The Prince has been acting different, hasn't he?" Toby questioned, drying the dishes that Harry handed to him.
Playing like he didn't understand, Harry said, "How so?"
"I don't know, he's not as bossy and rude as he used to be. And he actually smiles as us 'peasants' now, something I never imagined in even my wildest dreams that he would do," Toby, who suddenly stopped drying and truned to Harry with wonder said, "I can't put my finger on it but he's not the same Louis."
"Well maybe he's in a better mood lately because Prince Niall and Prince Joseph are back? He's always gutted when they leave."
Harry thought the lie was believeable enough, as Louis was always very moody when his brother and cousin weren't around. However, part of him knew that he was lying and when part of him knew he was lying, he could never pull of the fib.
"Niall and Joseph were only gone for a few months before they returned. He's been a royal pain in my ass since I started working here 5 years ago-- and i'm sure he was just as horrendous before then."
Toby then picked up his towel again and began drying dishes once more, pushing his curly hair away from his forehead with his forearm every few minutes.
"Why do you care so much anyhow, it's not like it has anything to do with you or your job?" Harry asked, maybe a little too definsively, because Toby shot him a bewildered look. He began to retaliate, but then thought better of it.
Breathing to relieve his irritation, Toby answered calmly, "I care because no one goes from 100 to 0 on the asshole scale that quickly."
"He's not an asshole..." Harry said under his breath, unplugging the drain in the sink and washing the last dish with care.
"C'mon Harry, just because he's your boytoy now doesn't mean that you can't be honest and say he's an asshole by nature! It's just who he is."
"He's not my boytoy, what are you saying Tob?"
Harry was nervous and uncomfortable, so he began laughing-- giggling really-- and couldn't stop. Toby leaned on the counter in the kitchen, watching Harry giggle like an idiot, not a drop of emotion on his freckled face.
"I may be a little slow to the punch on things sometimes, but i'm not an imbecile. And even if I was, I have eyeballs that are constantly showing me how fond you are of Louis. God knows why, but you're a babbling idiot around him and it's obvious."
"Really?" Harry blushed, hoping Louis didn't notice it like everyone else did.
"Don't feel too bad, he acts like a love struck idiot around you too. He's always tripping and bumping into things, which he never did before meeting you. Louis used to be like a dictator, and now he's like a kitten," He noted, laughing to himself a bit, "And don't even get me started on how both of you won't cease to trying to impress each other with the dumbest stuff."
"Seriously, it's that obvious?"
"What, did you think you guys were actually hiding it well?"
"I thought we were doing alright, keeping it low key," Harry blushed once again, not entirely lying to his servant friend.
