The Great Library of Alexandria
Before its great demise at the hand of the Roman Emperor Ceaser, it contained literature from all over the world. Some say it has a book that significantly explains the history of the gods, documents of magic, and fairy tale stories. A beautiful creation by the mortals of this world and to see it go up in flames broke the hearts of many scholars.
What many didn't know was the great importance of this library, it had studies of different worlds and how to go to them but with that knowledge lost forever, no one will know about the Library's deepest secret.
"It's nowhere."
"What?"
Serenity was sweating at the current situation. This can't be happening, not to her.
"The place she belongs in is nowhere in this world."
That's it!!
"Um...Excuse me."
Both the Mirror and Crowley turned and looked at the shy goddess.
"What the mirror said is correct. I'm from the moon so I don't belong in this world."
"The MOON!!??"
Serenity jumped at Crowley's sudden outburst.
"Then how did you end up here?"
"That's something I would like to know as well Sir Crowley."
Serenity turned her attention to the Mirror.
"So now that you know where I came from, can you send me back."
"I can not."
"W..What? Why?"
The Mirror stood silenced before he could answer.
"Because I was told to keep you here."
Told to keep her here? By whom. So many questions and no answers in sight, what's going on? But before Crowley and Serenity could say or ask the mirror anything it just vanished within the dark abyss of the mirror. Serenity had no words, she had never been off the moon before, nor had she communicated with other beings besides her mother. Crowley notice the young girl's distress and couldn't help but feel empathy for her. She was thrown to a place without her consent and is forced to stay there, a position she doesn't know. Crowley soon loudly cleared his throat.
" Since I'm so very gracious, I'll let you stay in this school. We have an abandoned dorm not too far from the main campus. Mind following my Miss. Serenity?"
Serenity looked up to the tall headmaster and followed him.
This man can't be serious. All Serenity saw was a dorm on its last leg, cobwebs in the high corners, every step she took would make a loud creek, and the consent dripping from the leaks above them.
"Is....is this the dorm?"
"Quite delightful isn't it? Well then, get yourself right on in now."
Crowley slightly nudged the girl into the old building.
"I'll make sure to have Professor Crewel make clothes for you. The last thing we and is to have a young girl yourself have no article of clothing to wear. Maybe he'll make your uniform as well."
And he was gone.
Serenity was once aging welcomed but the silence once again, the silence she's grown accustomed to and found to love at times.....but this silence was different. She knew she wasn't alone, the question was who else was here? Slowing making her way upstairs, each step was followed by a creek, she met with the sight of a corridor with four doors on each side. Serenity moved her eyes to see her surrounding much more closely, if this place was more cleaned up it would have been beautiful. She gently placed her hand on the rotting wall, and the hand slightly glowed, and just like with the flames back during the orientation, blue stardust quickly made its way across the walls, and behind the they left a cleaner or even a newer wall.
