The Scary Night

Lucy parked her car in front of the mansion. Lucy checked out the mansion. It was white in colour and blue colour design used on pillars.

The gate was of brown and golden colour. It was very huge and beautiful. She entered the house. It was very beautiful from inside. Everything was tidy and clean. She can see some butterflies in the hallway.

She passed her time by watching tv, playing with butterflies and some other stuffs.

It's 9:30 pm now. She went to see if the closet is open or closed. The closet was open, she took all her stuff and went to library.

She layed on the couch and started to think why Jonathan gave her all those rules to follow. She slept while thinking all of that. Suddenly, she felt something on her leg. And she woke up. It was nothing, but her hair.

It was now 10:15 am. Someone knocked the door. The person at door said, " Police is here, open the door!"
She got scared. But she decided to follow the rules and not open the door. The intensity of knocking on the door was getting higher. Suddenly, it got quiet. So quiet, that it felt no one was there at the first place.

Lucy was a bit relaxed after the knocking stopped. After 25 mins, someone again knocked the door. The person at the door said, "Lucy open the door, I'm Jonathan"
Lucy was shocked and ran towards the door. When she was about to open the door, she felt something weird. It was like her mind was telling that don't open the door. So she decided not to open the door.

The person said, " Don't worry about the rules, just open the door"
But, Lucy sticked to her decision and didn't open the door. After 10 minutes, that person was gone.
All these random knocking on the door stopped after 1 hour. Lucy finally calmed down a little and she slept.

She woke up the next morning. She saw a man cooking something. That man said to Lucy, " Scrambled eggs?"

Lucy still a bit nervous nodded.

She sat down at the dining table with him.
He served her eggs and coffee.

That man said that he's Jonathan. He congratulated her for completing all the tasks.

Lucy nervously laughed. She felt very uncomfortable around him. So she excused that she had a class.

Jonathan also said, "Oh yeah, you must have your classes. Be safe on your way."

Lucy left the mansion.

Lucy randomly decided to check the rules again. She saw something on her phone and froze.

She forgot to turn on the radio on television.

But suddenly she recieved money from Jonathan. He also messaged her that he was out of town and she can relax because he won't give her tasks to complete for 2 weeks.

She thought, if Jonathan is outside the town, who did she had breakfast with?

And to add salt on a bruise, she forgot the follow one rule, which was to turn on TV radio for whole night.

She was extremely scared.

She suddenly received a message from an unknown number.

Who was it? What was the message?
