Sing me to Sleep

Jake's POV:

It's raining heavily nowadays, and there's a thunder and lightning which I hate so much as I get easily scared.

I'm cooking dinner right now while Heeseung Hyung is not here yet. Well I'm cooking kalguksu, it's a Korean noodle dish.

While waiting for it to boil, there's a loud thunder which made me jump in my seat and fell on the floor.

" Ahh! Kamjagiya!"

" Yeobo?" Heeseung Hyung said.

" Ah! Your here! I didn't notice you." I stood up and went to hug him.

" Yeah, I'm here. Are you alright? You fell in the chair."

" I'm alright..oh wait!" I ran towards the kitchen and turn off the stove. I looked back at Heeseung Hyung.

" I cooked kalguksu."

" Really? Should we eat then?"

" You have to wash up first Nae Sarang."

" Alright, I'll go wash up." I walk up to him and kissed his cheeks. He then went to the bathroom to wash up.

After a few minutes his here in the table with me. We prayed first before eating our food.

" It's good, how did you learn to cook this Nae Sarang?" He asked me.

" I watch some tutorial in YouTube, also it's not that hard."

" Oh really?" He asked teasingly.

" Of course!" I said and then chuckled.

We finished eating and Heeseung Hyung decided to wash the dishes, which I tried to stop and told him that I'm the one who will be washing the dishes.

After he was finished washing the dishes we decided to play something. We may be older but we still play, what do you think only young people can play?🤨 I'm kidding. Anyways, first we decided to play 1 lie 2 facts.

" Ok you go first." Heeseung Hyung told me.

" Ok, uh.... I'm scared of thunder. I love playing football, and lastly I hate Layla ( Jake's dog)".

" It's obvious Nae Sarang, the lie is you hate Layla."

" Ha, yo-!" I was cut off by a loud thunder so I jumped towards Heeseung hyung and hugged him.

" Aw, Nae Sarang." He hugged me.

We stay like that for a while since the thunder continued. When I don't hear any thunder anymore moved away to Heeseung hyung's embrace.

" Are you alright now Nae Sarang?"

" Yes, I'm alright now, thank you Nae Sarang."

He kissed my forehead while I just close my eyes. This feeling is really good, it makes my heart feel at home.

" Nae Sarang?" I called Heeseung hyung.

" Hm? What is it?"

" Let's watch a movie."

" Sure, I'll go get a pillow and blanket while you take care of what we're gonna watch."

" Ok!" I stood up and went towards the TV. I opened it and search for a movie. I chose something that is new. Heeseung Hyung lay the extra blanket in the floor, and then he put the pillow, we both lay down and started the movie.

" The child looks like you Nae Sarang."

" Hmm? How come?" I asked him.

" Look at his eyes, his nose, his lips, everything it's like a young version of you Nae Sarang. Oh! And that thing he did, you also do it." As I watch the child, it is indeed look like me.

" Yeah, it did, even being scared so easily." I chuckled which he just smiled.

We were too busy watching in the TV, Heeseung hyung telling more about how I really look like the child, and stuffs when a loud noise echoes throughout the whole building, then suddenly the lights were out. The lights in every room are slowly being off. It was a power outrage.

" Ahhh! Nae Sarang!!" I said as I immediately hugged Heeseung Hyung tightly.

" Sshhh, it's alright hmm? I'm here. Nothing to be afraid of." He said as he kissed my forehead.

" Don't leave me Ind the darkness."

" I won't, but I have to get the rechargeable fan or else we both feel hot."

" I'll go with you." We both stood up and went in our room, it's too dark so we were careful in every steps. Finally, Heeseung hyung got a flashlight already.

" Here, hold this Nae Sarang."

" Ok, give me." I get it to him and flash him. Once he got the rechargeable fan, we went back where we are laying, but before we lay down, we opened the window a little bit.

" I can't sleep, Nae Sarang."

" Hmm? Is it because It's still hot?"

"... No"

" I know now, want me to sing you to sleep?"

" Really? I would love that."

" Of course Nae Sarang. What do you want me to sing? Do you want me to use our guitar?"

" It's alright Nae Sarang if you don't use the guitar, all I want is to hear your angelic voice."

" Are you teasing me?"

" What? That's not even a tease Nae Sarang, I'm just stating facts, and I can see your blush." I chuckled joking with him now.

" Aiyahh, stop it, I won't sing for you." He said.

" I'm just kidding, you can sing off my face Nae Sarang, the one you cover?"

" Oh, by your favorite artist, why's that?"

" It's just, whenever you sing it I fell like I'm listening to an angel." He smiled at me.

" Alright, alright, let's lay down hm?" He hugged me then he started humming.

As he sings this part, my eyes are slowly closing. I hugged more closely to him, which he responded by hugging me more.

I feel like he started to notice that I'm about to fall asleep as he loosen his hug.

As he finishes the song, I've already fallen asleep, going to the dreamland, I didn't know what he did next as I"m already asleep but one thing is that I heard.

" I love you, Good night my home."
