A Tale of Two Princes ( short)

Third Person POV:

Once upon a time, in a kingdom far away, there lived two princes named Sim Jaeyun and Lee Heeseung. They were friends since childhood. Their bond was so strong to the point they were inseparable.

" Prince Lee! Time to go back to the Evergreen castle!" The highly trusted servant of Evergreen castle.

" I don't want to! I want to stay with Jaeyun!" Young Prince Lee argued.

" Oh dear, the majesty will be mad if we won't go back right now." The servant said picking up the young Prince who's fighting against the servant.

" Stop it. And you'll see, Prince Sim will have to do something. Right your majesty?" The servant asked Prince Sim softly.

" I don't have to do anything at all, I just want to play with Heeseung!"

" Oh now you see! Let me gooo!" He whined.

" That's not how the prince should act your Highness."

" You should put him down." Prince Sim said. The servant put down Prince Lee.

" Thanks, Jaeyun." Prince Lee said, holding Prince Sim's hand. They both smiled at each other.

" Sorry to disturb you, you Highness but your majesty is calling you." The Mirelle Servant said to Prince Sim.

" What do they want? I'm still with Heeseung. "

" Your Highness, unfortunately Prince Lee must go back to the Evergreen castle." Prince Sim looked down and sobbed.

" We have to say goodbye Hee." Prince Sim said. The two servants look at each other with the same expression.

' They will still see each other tomorrow ' The two servants thought.

" Well, farewell Jaeyun." Prince Lee said, hugging Prince Sim. They bid goodbye for the last time and Prince Lee went home.

.... Over the years, their bond has become more and more stronger until it blossomed into a passionate and undeniable love. Who knew that the two childhood friends will fall for each other?

" I'm so happy when I'm with you. You fill my heart with love, Jaeyun." Prince Lee confessed in the Mirelle's Garden.

" My heart beats the same, Hee. You make me feel safe and calm." Both of them confessed to each other. And that's where their relationship starts.

However, their love was not without its challenges. In the kingdom of Mirelle and Evergreen, same-sex relationships were frowned upon by the conservative members of the court. They see their relationship as an abomination, something that creates shame in their family.

" We forbid this relationship!"

" No matter what happens here. The feeling I have for the prince will never fade and I'm ready to fight for it and I won't be sorry."

" Hee.." Prince Sim said.

" It will be alright."

" I will fight for our love as well." Prince Sim said.

" How could both of you do this?!"

" It's because of love! Why can't you accept us?!" Prince Sim said, squeezing Prince Lee's hand.

" No can do, we forbid this relationship!" The two princes still fight for their love.

Despite the disapproval of the court — the two refused to stop their relationship. They secretly meet each other, They would steal moments together, and share tender kisses. The two princes found peace in each other's embraces, and their love served as a beacon of light in a dark world.

One day, in a grand ball. The two princes show up together holding hands. The two Royal Councils look at them with disgust, as they think that they were being scandalous. The Royal Council warned the both of them that if they did not end their love , they would be banished from the castle.

Prince Lee and Prince Sim didn't back down. They knew that their love is strong and true. They can't bear to be separated. As the council members continued to berate them, Prince Sim snapped out and boldly spoke up, depending on their relationship, stating that it was worth sacrificing for.

" I have enough, as a Prince, I am ashamed for this norms that the royal Council believes! If you can't accept us I would rather be banished into thin air or to this kingdom. There's nothing wrong with our relationship. You just can't accept us — and give judgement at many sorts. If only you try to understand our relationship then maybe you consider and accept us. But you keep your eyes closed, refusing to understand us at all." The Royal Council was shocked, as well Heeseung. Prince Sim will just say a few sentences to fight for their relationship, but this time it didn't happen.

" Jaeyun..."

" You will never ever separate us." Prince Sim said with determination.

The council members were still taken aback by the depth of the princes' emotions, and for a moment, there was a flicker of understanding in their eyes.

Suddenly, the doors to the grand hall swung open. The King and Queen of Mirelle and Evergreen entered. Their regal presence commanding the attention of all those present. Their gazes fall into the two princes. As they looked at them, they felt the love between them overflowing.  The King of Mirelle addressed the council members, his voice strong and unwavering.

" My dear." He began.

" Love knows no boundaries, no rules, no restrictions."  He said as he looked at the two princes.

" The two of you have shown us that true love is a force to be reckoned with, a powerful and beautiful thing. We will not stand in the way of their happiness, for it is clear that their love is pure and sincere." He said as he looks to his wife and the King and Queen of Evergreen. They all nodded, agreeing to his statement.

The council members were stunned into silence. They looked at the two princes with apologetic eyes. Prince Lee and Prince Sim stood there proudly as they proved their relationship deserves to be accepted by the Castle.

Their love story became legendary, a tale of two princes who fought the odds to be together. Their hearts full of joy and thankfulness, they knew their love could weather any difficulty that arose.

And so, the two princes lived happily ever after, their love glowing brilliantly for the entire realm to behold. For, in the end, love triumphs above all.
