With not much time to spare, Thomas used his engine to rush down the track, heading for the magic buffers that go to the secret magic railway, with Hiro and Lady in the engine's cabin. It wasn't long before the Pokémon noticed that the grass and leaves of the trees were drying out and wilting. Lady: "What's happening to the greenery?" Hiro: "I seen this in my dream... the magic that brings life to the island is fading away." Thomas: "Because of the lack of gold dust?" Hiro: "Yes... which is why we need to find the source of making more before it's too late." Thomas: "And find the lost engine so we can get Clarabel back." Lady: "Thomas, buffers ahead!" said Lady, as she can see the buffers ahead. Thomas: "We're going through... and I know that I can do it... cause little Pokémon can do big things!" said Thomas, as his engine goes through the buffers and entered the magic railway. Once they got inside, they see that the magic railway was in some kind of tunnel of thorns and vines, and it dark and cold as well. It wasn't long before they noticed the missing coal truck on the tracks besides the one they were on. Thomas: "Hey!, there's the missing coal truck." Lady: "Wait... stoke up the magic in mountain... that's part of the clue to the source of the Gold Dust!" Thomas: "And Lady, that's what you do with coal... stoke it up to make steam..." Hiro: "Now that I think about it... Stone always used that coal for the Lost engine when he traveled on the island..." Thomas: "In that case, we're going back for that coal truck!" said Thomas, before setting his engine to go full reverse and went to the track where the coal truck was, before coupling up and going forward again, taking the coal truck with them. Lady: "You're a really useful Pokémon, Thomas." said Lady, before she kissed the blue Mew on the cheek, making him blush a little. It wasn't long before they finally made it to the end of the line and they arrived to the top of Muffle Mountain. Thomas: "Where are we?" Lady: "We're on Muffle Mountain!, I recognize this place anywhere!" Hiro: "Yes... and your grandfather's workshop should be here somewhere." Thomas: "But I can't leave my engine here, and I can't move it forward as it's in front of a cliff." Lady: "Then you should stay here Thomas, Hiro and I will find that lost engine." Thomas: "Okay... but please hurry, it's getting a little windy up here..." said Thomas, before Lady and Hiro were off to Stone's abandoned workshop. Suddenly, the cliff that Thomas' engine was on gave out, and the blue engine began to roll down. Thomas: "Bust my boilers!, I left the coal truck behind!, stop wheels!, stop!" yelled the blue Mew, as he tried to slow down but it was no use. Lady and Hiro turned around and gasped in shock to see what was happening. Lady: "Thomas!" Hiro: "Oh no!" they ran back to the cliff, only to see that Thomas and his engine was no where to be found. Lady couldn't help but shed tears out of her eyes, believing that the poor Mew had perished. Lady: "Oh Thomas... I shouldn't have left you..." Hiro: "I'm so sorry..." meanwhile, Thomas was still having trouble on slowing down, before seeing another track up ahead. He managed to get his engine on top of the tracks, before seeing a pair of buffers ahead. Once Thomas' engine got the buffers though, it vanished like magic and so both he and his engine were back to the magic railway. Thomas: "The magic railway?, oh I hope Lady and Hiro are alright..." meanwhile, after a moment of mourning, Lady and Hiro made it to the secret workshop, and found the Lost engine that they were looking for. Lady: "So this is it?" Hiro: "Yes... and she's just as beautiful as I remembered..." Lady: "Why did my grandpa locked her up?" Hiro: "He didn't... he put her here to be safe from harm." said Hiro, before he began telling Lady about how Stone left Sodor to repair the engine after it got damaged from the crash, caused by PT Boomer chasing him to dominate the railway. Hiro: "By the time Stone finally fixed her up... he passed away, made me promised that I would never tell anyone about it... until it's new caretaker is found..." Lady: "New caretaker?" Hiro: "Yes... which is why I'm telling you this... as I believe that caretaker is you." Lady: "Me?" Hiro: "You always loved trains, and this was your grandpa's... so it's only fitting." said Hiro, before he noticed that Lady was looking at some sort of map with railway tracks on it. Lady: "This must be the map of the magic railway... but it looks like it's fading away..." Hiro: "The Railroad needs the engine... now more than ever..." Lady: "Well then... let's get her running as soon as possible, for Thomas and Clarabel..." Hiro: "Yeah..." said Hiro, before he and Lady went off to collect some of the coal from the truck for the engine.
