(PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, Read the authors note at the end of this chapter. I have a few questions, thank you! :)) )I sat behind the counter, reading one of my favorite books, 'The Fault in our Stars.' Yeah, I know what you're thinking, basic? Far from it actually, I hopped on this train way before it was 'cool'. I might seem like your basic hipster girl, and I actually might be but besides the point. I could read this book everyday for the rest of my life, and probably never get tired of it. When I looked up from my book, I see this gorgeous boy standing in front of me. I've seen him before, he's very famous, well known. Why was he in my small coffee shop? Calum Hood, from 5 seconds of summer, was standing in my coffee shop?
He walked in wearing a black 'Nirvana' t shirt and black skinny jeans. He has a few tattoos scattered across his arms, I've always been extremely jealous with anyone that had tattoos. He had wonderful, curly brown hair with streaks of bleached blonde in it. His brown eyes are what caught my attention, they weren't your average dirt brown eyes. The feature I notice in anyone first, is there eyes, and man were his beautiful.
"Hi.." He pauses and looks at my name tag. "Avery" and smiles brightly. "Hi.." I pause and look at him and a small laugh escapes my lips."Calum, Calum Hood." He smirks and leans on the tall counter. I smile at him and shake my head. "I know who you are, I absolutely adore your band and your bassist skills." I smile at my knowledge and he looks shocked. "I absolutely adore your cute coffee shop here and your barista skills. " He mocks me and laughs. "Good one Hood." I say and look up at him, "So can I get you anything? Or are you just gonna stand here and make fun of me?" I laugh.
"Most people when I walk into anywhere ask for my autograph or something, you're so chill. I like it." He smirks. I roll my eyes jokingly and stare at him. "I swear I'm not usually this full of myself, I'm trying to make you laugh but it doesn't seem to be working." He laughs and I smile and nod. "I'll just have a camomile tea." He smiles and sits on the bar stool right near the counter. I nod and start making it for him as our conversation continues.
CALUMS P.O.V
The boys and I had just finished walking around the city, admiring everything. They all went back to the hotel but I declined, wanting to keep looking around. We are rarely in London anymore, and I love everything about this place. As I continue walking, I come to a small coffee shop on the corner, called 'Zooey's.' It doesn't look packed at all, might as well stop for a drink while there's no fans or paps around.
When I walk inside, I see one of the most gorgeous girls I've ever seen, working behind the counter. She's reading, should I interrupt her? Maybe I'll just wait till she looks up. Yeah, good plan Calum. She looks up at me and I take in every feature of her. She has beautiful long brown hair, tied back into a pony tail. Her eyes catch my attention the most, not your average brown eyes. Her eyes are full of sparkle, all shades of browns and golds all into one simple thing. I adore her already.
"Hi.." I look down at her name tag and back to her face, "Avery". I smile at her and she looks at me. "Hi.." She pauses and I see her giggle quietly. I take this as my opportunity to pull a slick move, because, I'm a slick guy.
"Calum, Calum Hood." I smirk and lean against the counter. Everything about her blows me away, her prominent cheek bones, her small dimples, the way her lips move when she talks. "I know who you are, I absolutely adore your band and your bassist skills." She smiles and I look at her shocked. She knows me, knows who I am. She isn't freaking out? Plan going just how I want.
"I absolutely adore your cute coffee shop here and your barista skills." I mock her and laugh a little. Gotta be smooth with the ladies, Cal. "Good one Hood." She says and looks into my eyes. I love the way she speaks. Everything about her, I can't say it enough. "So, can I get anything? Or are you just gonna stand here and make fun of me?" She laughs a little louder this time and I smirk.
