Chapter 15- Stay Beside Me

-Park Chanyeol's POV-

She handed me the clothes,they weren't that bad.I took off my shirt and left it on a hanger.I saw my phone vibrating on the floor where I had left it while I was changing,butler Lee had called.School probably called in and said that I was absent,he is looking for me right now is he? I smiled and completely turned off the phone,Jung Hwa needs someone now then ever.I'm not going to leave her side.

I trusted her with Jongin,he's nothing but a jerk.Even if he's my good friend,I'm not letting him have Jung Hwa.I'm not letting her go,I can't either because I grow to love her more everyday.I can't step back down now,it's to late.

I put my phone in the pocket of the sweatpants,I put one hand in my other pocket as I got out.I walked into the living room but as I walked I scanned the house,it's was pretty small but the decor was nice.It had a vintage vibe to it,I saw a photo of a little girl.I smiled stopping to stare,that must be Jung Hwa.Her chubby cheeks looked the same,she looks adorable.Her parents were beside her and they all smiled,they look like such a happy family.

I ruffled my hair and continued walking to the livingroom."It's not my style but I guess it's not bad." Jung Hwa was siting on her sofa,she scanned me with her eyes with a blank look.

She averted her eyes."I'll make you some hot chocolate to warm you up since you were in the rain." Jung Hwa got up and walked to her kitchen,it was quite nice to have your kitchen next to your living room.I don't know why but being in this house makes me feel so warm and cozy,there's something special about it then living in the mansion.

I saw that she had a tv and I grabbed the remote off the small table,I saw the power button and pressed it but the tv didn't turn on.I walked in front of the tv and saw that there was no button or anything to turn it on,I even looked at the sides.I tried pressing the remote again and became frustrated,I sighed and walked to the kitchen.Maybe the batteries are all used up,I should just ask Jung Hwa if she has any new batteries.

I saw her looking outside at the rain,Jung Hwa looked so lost.She must be so hurt,I want to just hold her and tell her it's okay so bad.But how could I possibly know how she's feeling? In her mind she's hopelessly in love with Jongin and after he said that he liked her she felt like there was a chance,but after she saw Yuna and Jongin together her heart shattered.

I saw a tear stream down her cheek,how much I wanted to wipe them way.Jung Hwa hit her fist on the counter,I held the remote tightly.I hated how she lied that she was okay,I already knew she's not but why does she want to fight this alone? Keep holding it in and not let anyone know? Jung Hwa wiped her cheek as I saw her from this distance,she poured the water into the cup.

"Chanyeol your hot chocolate is done."

I placed the remote down on the table and walked towards her.

"Chanyeol?"

I leaned and pulled her into an embrace,her face landed into my chest like a cushion.She buried her face and slowly lifted her arms returning the hug,I could now feel how much she needed someone to lean on.Jung Hwa could you depend on me?

Jung Hwa moved an inch away from my chest,her beautiful dark eyes stared at me.She pulled away and I stood as she awkwardly pulls her hair back.

"I-I'm sorry." She apologizes.

I blink twice."What for?"

"Hugging you back,this is wrong..." Jung Hwa started,"I know you have someone you like,I don't want to ruin anything that's happening between you two."

"What?"

"Now that your father believes that were together.I guess it's fine and alright for you and her to be together now." She gave a small smile,is she really that happy?
