Prologue

"You worthless stupid fat ass!" Hee sun said throwing Jung Hwa to the ground,she flicked her red long hair that flowed down her back and left with her friends laughing.She heard there laughs echo through the empty hallway,she picked herself up and wiped her tears off her chubby cheeks.

Jung Hwa was always been chubby,almost all her life she's been made fun of because of her body weight.She didn't understand why people would judge so much,she felt like it was her fault because she was overweight.Society was cruel,she knew very well.Everyday she was bullied,no one would help her.She never asked for help,and she also never stood up for herself because she was scared and insecure.Each day she hated herself,she didn't want to live this hell of a life she had anymore.

The one person that made her live her life in hell was Chanyeol,every single day he would bully her.Saying hurtful things to her,she hated him so much.He just didn't understand what she had to go through because of him.He was rich,got everything he ever wanted.She was always in the crowd,in the darkness.Everyone wanted to avoid her,she didn't have any friends to lean on.

Jung Hwa started walking and she held her head downwards facing the ground,her tears brimmed down her cheeks.She bumped into someone hard and fell to the ground once again,she looked above and saw Chanyeol laughing with his friends.

"Why don't you just kill yourself? Why bother living?!" He spat on the ground as she stared horrified.She was tired of all his name calling and fed up with him bullying her every single day,she needed courage to stand up for herself.

She stood up and looked at him straight in the eyes,he looked back with disgust.

"I'm tired of your crap! You know what I had to go through because of you?!" She screamed out using all the air in her lungs.

"Your an asshole! I'll prove you that you were wrong! When you said that I was worthless and deserved to die!" She said as more of her tears dripped down her face falling to the cold ground,she finally said it.The words that she was yearning to say for so long,everything became clear to her now.She looked at Chanyeol one last time.

Her hand moved by itself,she slapped him across the face causing him to fall backwards.Jung Hwa regretted for what she did,she didn't want it to end this way.She just wanted to prove to that jerk that he was wrong,she stared at his face as his friends gasp in shock.He had a red hand mark on the side of his face,Jung Hwa didn't know what to do next.She walked away as if nothing happened.

She looked at her hand as she walked alone,she just slapped the most popular and richest guy in the whole school.What the hell was I thinking? She thought to herself,she clenched her hand into a fist.She was determined,she knows that jerk will regret everything he has done to her.

-2 Years Later-

Jung Hwa walked down stairs to see her mother hugging her fathers portrait again,it's been a some time after her father passed away from lung cancer.Her mother just hasn't let go of the past to move on,she would aways cry and talk about how much she missed him.Jung Hwa walked into the living room and sat down next to her mom,her mom noticed that she sat down.

She smiled gently and put the portrait back on the shelf."Jung Hwa,I should move on right?" Her mother said as Jung Hwa was surprised to hear that from her mom.

"Umma,take your time." She didn't want to rush her mom,it would only be harder for her mother.

"I love you Jung Hwa,if anything happens in the future always remember that." She said hugging Jung Hwa tightly,Jung Hwa wrapped her arms around her mother.

"Umma,I need to go to school now." Jung Hwa said getting up and bowing,her mom just smiled back.

"I'll be back,wait for me." She said with a wave.

"I'll be waiting-" Her mom was cut off when she closed the door.

Today was the day that Jung Hwa had to go back to school.She didn't want to,but it was for the best and she had to.She remembered back when she confronted Chanyeol and slapped him in the face,she just couldn't wait to prove him wrong.For the past months she has been eating healthy and slowly losing weight,she was determined because of Chanyeol's words.The more she remembered the harsh words he said towards her the more she tried harder,she never gave up and kept her head held high.
