Got a comet that crashed into the earth and blessed the land with magic. Those who live off the land gain said magic. Leif ends up stranded on a beach with all memory of their past gone.
Who are they? What are they? They stumble and crawl their way into a dirt path that led them through the forest and to an abandoned house where they decided to take residence.
Over time they picked up skills as they learn to live again. Some skills old like cooking and foraging. Some skills new like magic and gardening.
Leif at the beginning of my story for them, has lost almost all of their memory. They have this natural curiosity to them. They like to learn but they don't really know how to "properly" learn so they learn through chaos. They're also a critter of sorts. They do critter things like make nests out of comfy materials and chase smaller critters.
Leif use to be a part of a piratecrew wit Grimshaw. After a storm he got separate ended up stranded on a beach which lec woods. Which is not too far away from t kingdom that's led by sire
