Falling into the Beast World

Prologue

Everyone has a spirit animal. Sometimes it is the exact representation of their inner self. Sometimes it is the opposite. In this world, everyone is born with characteristics of that inner spirit animal. However, as stated before, it is not always matched with their true selves. Some people born with a mouse tail and ears, or sheep ears and horns can be shy and timid. A person born with snake scales, or a big bushy foxtail can be cunning and sly. But there are those that are born with dog ears and tails but have the inner self of a cat.

Not everyone needs to follow the script with which they were born. It is very disrespectable to assume someone's inner character by their external features. Everyone has the right to be whoever they want to be.

Alice was one of those people. She was born with the features of a white rabbit. Tall fluffy ears, small fluffy puffball of a tail and ruby red eyes. Bunnies were known to be exceptionally beautiful, ditzy, and promiscuous. They were not expected to be anything other than a pretty housewife to have a bunch of kits with, which was not hard given their natural high fertility and libido. Like their animal counterparts they are almost always in heat, once a season.

When Alice was younger, her parents abandoned her at the nearest fire station when she was only 2 days old. The only thing the firefighters could tell the authorities was that her parents were a pair of hyenas. They did not look like good people as they were more worried about the next hit than the safety and wellbeing of their child. The Head nun of the orphanage named her Alice after the little girl in the Lewis Carrol classic that had a white rabbit in the story. Due to her outside appearance, she was teased and bullied growing up. It made her stronger and wanted to better herself, so she did not have to rely on the help of others and to also be able to protect herself. She will get her own home, her own career, and create her own family that will love her and give her all that she missed.

Despite all these assumptions of others, Alice was different. Grant it she still had the high libido, but she decided to save herself till she found 'the one.' Everyone assumed she was ditzy and unintelligent, however she just graduated from university with degrees in agricultural science and Biology. The only thing she took pride in was her beauty; she loved to dress up and treat herself to spa days. She did love creating new looks and felt proud when complimented on her designs.

As a little gift to herself and to celebrate the fact that she beat all odds and graduated with top honors, she was going to a Halloween costume party and dressing up in one her own creations. Ironically, she is going as the queen of hearts from the story she was named after. The party was being held at a cabin located deep in the woods. It was going to be a night she will remember for the rest her life.
