SYNOPSIS:
Jade W. Kirk and her twin, Jim, have always been close, the best of friends. When Captain Pike tells the duo that they need to enlist in Starfleet, Jade is skeptical. Why would she want to join an organization that got her father killed? Unable to leave Jim to his own devices, she follows him to the academy where she excels in her own right. She becomes fast friends with Uhura who loves to tease her about her crush on a certain doctor.
When the attack on Vulcan occurs, she finds herself suddenly thrust into a situation she wasn't exactly prepared for. Facing the foe who ultimately killed her father, will she be able to cope and do her job or will her rage get the best of her?
This is based off the 2009 Star Trek film. Though there will be interaction with McCoy, this is an extreme slow burn when it comes to their romance.
There will be three books total following the three films.
