The next morning, Meng Zezhi carried a box of ginseng and two boxes of coffee to the Biology Department building.
Following the information provided by Professor Wan, he found Zhu Zhengqing's office. The security door was half open. Meng Zezhi raised his hand to knock on the door.
"Come in."
The voice contained a slight gasp, like the sound of a mountain spring.
Meng Zezhi pushed open the door.
The person was squatting in a pile of cardboard boxes on the ground, and just happened to look up at him. Beads of sweat flowed down his smooth chin, wetting the front of his shirt, and slightly revealing his delicate collarbones.
A hint of surprise flashed in his eyes: "It's you?"
Meng Zezhi calmly withdrew his gaze, suppressing the strange feeling in his heart, and asked doubtfully, "Professor Zhu?"
Upon hearing this, Zhu Zhengqing's eyes flashed with a sudden realization: "You must be Professor Meng that Grandpa Wan mentioned!"
Since they were acquaintances, the conversation became much easier.
Meng Zezhi walked over and extended his hand.
Zhu Zhengqing stood up, and reached out to shake hands with Meng Zezhi, only to realize that his hand was wrapped tightly by Meng Zezhi's hand.
"Do all older men have hands this big?" He seriously pondered.
By the time he snapped out of his thoughts, Meng Zezhi had already withdrawn his hand. He said, "I'll have to trouble Professor Zhu for the next period of time!"
"No problem," Zhu Zhengqing calmly withdrew his hand and then gestured to the sofa beside him. "Have a seat."
Meng Zezhi nodded slightly and placed the gift box he was holding on the coffee table.
In the plot he received, Zhu Zhengqing didn't appear, but it didn't prevent him from learning about Zhu Zhengqing's extraordinary achievements from Professor Wan.
Born into a prestigious family, graduated from the bright students class of a prestigious university, entered the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) at the age of sixteen with a full scholarship, studied under Nobel Prize winner and world-renowned biologist Professor Montaigne, obtained his doctoral degree at the age of twenty, transferred to Harvard University for post-doctoral studies, won the Darwin Award two years later, and remained at the university as an associate professor.
The prize money for the Darwin Award wasn't high, only two hundred pounds, but it was named after Charles Darwin, a great scientist, and awarded by the prestigious Royal Society of the United Kingdom, which has a long history. Therefore, it has a significant impact in the academic world and is a highly prestigious biology award worldwide.
So far, he has published more than twenty academic papers in international authoritative academic journals, including three as corresponding author in [Cell] and one in [Nature.]
[Cell,] [Nature,] and [Science] are known as the world's top three academic journals.
In academic circles, there's a saying: publishing a paper in these top three academic journals allows you to find a teaching position at any university in the country; publishing two papers qualifies you for the "Young Thousand Talents Program" or a position as a full professor at "985" or "211" universities.
(You can read about project 985 and 211 here

In terms of intellectual property, research results are attributed to the corresponding author, which differs somewhat from the rules in China.
