"I'm Zhang Fangxu, from Bian province. I graduated from Geng Provence University and was admitted to Capital University for a combined master's and doctoral program through recommendation in 2012. Initially, I studied under Professor Zhang Minghui, a highly respected, knowledgeable and humourous professor who was worthy of sincere respect."

"However, after Professor Zhang passed away, I transferred to study under Professor Meng Zezhi, who also specialized in number theory. As the title suggests, today I'm posting this video to expose the ugly face of Professor Meng Zezhi."

"In early 2014, I developed a new understanding of the Goldbach Conjecture, so I conducted in-depth research on it and finally obtained research results two years later. However, because I spent too much time on this research and because Capital University has a rigid requirement for doctoral students to publish two articles in Chinese core journals, I divided these research results into two papers."

"These two papers are titled 'New Ideas on the Goldbach Conjecture' and 'On the Group Goldbach Conjecture.'"

In the video, Zhang Fangxu bent down and brought up a thick stack of drafts from under the table, flipping through them while speaking into the camera. 'These are the drafts I saved during my research. Perhaps out of vanity, I often discussed my research content with classmates and roommates. I hope they can come forward to testify for me.'"

"After finishing writing the papers, I went to see Professor Meng, hoping he could provide some guidance. After reviewing my papers, Professor Meng said there were some issues with the conclusion section, and he needed to study them carefully. He asked me to go and wait for further news first."

"In our field, it's generally very difficult for doctoral students to publish articles in domestic core journals independently, unless the supervisor is listed as the first author or if the student can obtain two recommendation letters, including one from their supervisor. In other words, regardless of the method, if Professor Meng doesn't agree, the chances of my paper passing review are extremely slim."

At this point, Zhang Fangxu seemed to be suppressing something, his eyes were filled with anger and veins bulging on his forehead. "I waited for nearly two months like this. Two months later, the paper was published in the *Chinese Journal of Mathematics* without my knowledge."

Zhang Fangxu grabbed two copies of the *Chinese Journal of Mathematics*, opened them in front of the camera, and gritted his teeth. "You didn't read it wrong. Only Meng Zezhi's name is listed in the author column of these two papers."

"Afterwards, I confronted Meng Zezhi about it. He threatened me, saying if I dared to expose this matter, he had a thousand ways to ensure I wouldn't graduate."

With that, Zhang Fangxu put down the two magazines and pulled out a bank statement, printed a year ago, with the words 'Meng Zezhi' circled in red.

"Then, Meng Zezhi transferred sixty thousand yuan to me."

Zhang Fangxu's eyes reddened. "At that time, my father happened to be hospitalized with chronic kidney failure in the late stage. Our family had nearly exhausted all our savings for his dialysis treatment..."

He clenched his fists tightly, choking back tears. "He targeted my vulnerability, and I couldn't fight against him…"

Talking till here, his tone changed, his face flushing red from his neck to behind his ears. "I kept the bank statement for today—"

"Surely, someone will ask, why do I have the courage to speak out today?" Zhang Fangxu took a deep breath. "Because I finally graduated."

"I was supposed to graduate in June, but without those two papers, I couldn't meet the hard graduation requirement of publishing two articles in Chinese core journals set by Capital University, so I was forced to delay my graduation for six months."
