The Undead #Four
Day 2 I think when I'm awaken in the morning from what I assume is the guards hitting their nightsticks against the steel bars of my cell then a loud, "Morning ladies! Breakfast!" Then they slide some more of that mush shit through the slot.
Once again Nichole hops off the top bunk and dives right in. She grabs both the trays, throughs them on her bunk and starts shoving it in her mouth. "I'm guessing you don't want yours, right?" She asks with surprisingly a food free mouth.
"Umm, no thanks..." I mutter. "I'm not that hungry." I insist.
She rolls her eyes. "Oh come on! You're not one of those girls who never eat anything because they think they're fat, are you? Because if you are, I'm filing a complaint and getting a new roommate."
I get off my bunk and sit on the floor across from her so I can look at her. "No, of course not." I mumble. "It's just I'm really not hungry. Everytime I look at that stuff I lose my appetite." Well it's not like I'm lying. Both of what I said is true but I just left out the part where Justin gave me his left over chicken. He left like a whole chicken breast there and some french fries! So I'm really not hungry. "Don't you ever get sick of that stuff?" I ask.
She shrugs her shoulders. "Meh, I mean I was like you at first, I wouldn't touch it. But now I came to realize that this isn't a five star restaurant and this is what I'm stuck with."
I scoff and think, 'yeah, well maybe you should make friends with the guards.' I laugh.
"What are you laughing at?" Nichole asks.
"Just, you eat like a pig." I giggle.
"Like you haven't figured that out yet." She snorts.
I roll my eyes and smile, but don't respond.
Minutes later my head snaps towards the cell door when I hear a rattle of keys and the piece of rust slowly screeches open. In steps a guard spinning two pairs of handcuffs around his pointer finger. He stops and stands tall just feet away from me and gives me a pointed look. "Don't try anything stupid." He growls.
I return his glare with the toughest one I have but it doesn't even phase him. He is at least a foot taller than me and has the biggest muscles I have ever seen. His hair is brown and cut short. I wouldn't be scared of a 5'2 girl if I were him either.
"Like I could do anything." I mutter as I stand up and hold my wrists out. He roughly puts one of the pairs of cuffs on me just as Nichole jumps down from her bunk and holds out her wrists.
"Don't worry Austin, she's not like the other girls in here. You won't get slapped anytime soon." Nichole dismisses.
He sighs in relief letting his shoulders sag. "Okay good. You girls really know how to hit when you're mad."
She drops her hands in front of her once he puts her handcuffs on and she gives one good nod. "Bet your ass we do."
He smirks and rolls his eyes, then turns and walks out of the cell. Nichole follows him so I assume I am suppose to follow her.
'Noooo! They were just gonna leave you behind? Dumbass.'
'Hey!'
I roll my eyes a the rude voice in my head that thinks it can comment on everything I think, at the same time following close behind Nichole as the girls in the other cells wink and whistle at me. Ugh, guess I really WILL have to be careful not to drop the soap. Thought that was a myth. Until now.
Nick leads us down a dark dingy hallway that looks like it will defiantly collapse within the next five minutes. Actually, since I mentioned it, the entire BUILDING looks like it'll collapse in any minute. This must be old as hell.
Anyways, Austin lead us through the gross hallway to a glass door that leads Outside. Wait, outside! They're letting us go! I get to go home! Butterflies emerge in my stomach and I get so happy I could throw up. So excited I could pass out.
Of course that is he opens it up and it's just simply another fenced in area with some sport equipment scattered around. With more girls with tattoos using them.
