Chapter 7: Welcome Party

"How can you be so calm right now?!" I voiced my thoughts. He chuckled at me again and climbed on top of me.

"How can you not be so calm?" He asked. Wait, did he just changed up my question? He did.

"Don't change up my question" I scolded him. He laughed and kissed my lips. I kissed him back. After a while he pulled back.

"Get dressed," he said. Confusion crossed my face. "We're going to a party. Go make yourself pretty" he finished and got off me. I huffed but got up anyway.

"Okay, then get out" I said. I pointed to the door. He pouted but went out of the door anyway. I rolled my eyes and laughed. I got up and ran over to my suitcase that has all my dresses in it. I opened it up and dug through it.

After a couple minutes of looking, I found the perfect one. The dress was blue and the style was mermaid style and strapless. I also grabbed some silver pumps. I smiled to myself and threw it on my bed. I than ran in the bathroom and started the shower. I waited tell the water got warm than stripped out of my clothes and jumped in. The water was relaxing and I started washing my hair.

After about 20 minutes, I turned off the shower and grabbed two towels. I wrapped a towel around my body and hair. I than walked back into my room. I got everything ready for me.

It took a couple minutes to get everything set up than I plunged in my curling iron. I started on my make-up, waiting for it to get hot. My make-up was simple; eye shadow, blush, and lip gloss. After I was done I curled my hair to perfection.

Next, I put my dress on and shoes. I looked in the mirror. Hmm.... it's still missing something. I thought. I got it! I ran into the bathroom and grabbed my silver earrings. Perfect. There was a knock on my door. I opened my door to see Hailey standing there. I smiled at her.

Hailey had a beautiful gown on. The top had silver sparkles on it and the whole dress was purple. The bottom was fluffy around her legs. She also has purple pumps on. She looked hot.

"Ready to go?" She asked. I nodded and hooked arms with her. We started walking and Natalie and Rebeca joined us.

"Do you guys know where we are going?" Rebeca asked. I nodded and keep walking.

We got to the ball room and opened the doors.

Have you ever walked into a classroom late and every eyes were on you and you just felt awkward? Yeah, well that's how we felt. The music stopped and everyone was staring at us.

We walked down the stairs and Miles and Kayden (The Beta) walked up to us.

"You look gorgeous," Miles said. I smiled and blushed. The music started again and a slow song came on. Stay with me by Sam Smith. "May I have this dance?" He asked. I nodded and he grabbed my hand.

We started swaying to the music. It was a nice slow song to dance to.

When the song ended, I stepped back from Miles. He bowed and I cruised.

"Um, I'm going for a drink, want one?" I asked him. He thought for a minute than shook his head.

"Nah, I'm good," he said. I nodded and turned away from him. I walked to the punch table and filled a cup. I looked around at everyone and they all had smiles on their faces. They were happy, I'm not.

"Hey," a deep voice said from beside me. I jumped and turned to where the voice was. Jackson stood there in a tux.

"Hi," I whispered. I looked at the ground uncomfortable with him being right here. I mean, he did reject me 3 years ago.
