{Jade's POV} {Sunday} {TW: SH}

"Hey I'm back, you hungry?" I yelled as I stepped into the house with food in my hands. I had a lot to do today so some company and a meal of some kind would be nice. I set the miscellaneous bags onto the counter and start unlacing my shoes. Maybe she's just in the bathroom and she didn't hear me. I finish unlacing my shoes and still, no response from her. I start to unbag all of the items I had bought and still, nothing. Maybe she was asleep. As I finish unpacking everything I realized. Fuck. I forgot the bleach. According to Amethyst, when I had passed out last night, there was blood still all over me and I stained a lot of the furniture and unfortunately a pretty nice fucking outfit. How could I forget the damn bleach.

I headed to my room and threw on some sweats and a t-shirt then took a hard look in the mirror. Not that it would matter now but, I still don't want any dried blood on me. I looked in my reflection for a while to make sure all the blood was clean. Still no answer from Amethyst... I stepped out of my room to see why I wasn't getting a response from her; she was awfully quiet. I slowly walked down the hallway, I felt uneasy; something was wrong. I picked up the pace; scared at this pit I felt in my stomach. I finally reached her door as I took a few deep breaths, just open the door Jade. I put my hand on the handle and slowly twisted it as another shaky breath escaped my lungs.

"Amethyst...?" I managed to get her name out as I slowly opened the door; scared at what I might see. I finally managed to get it open yet I felt like I was going to throw up. Amethyst laid there on the bed, blood seeping from her arms.

"Amethyst!" Panic filled my voice; I can't lose her too. I can't.

I stepped away from her bed and slipped on the blood that was on the floor as I tried to run to the bathroom, there had to be something in there to help her, she's not dead. She was still breathing. Out of breath, I made it to the bathroom. I search and search through the medicine cabinets and all I could find were bandages. It'll stop the bleeding; this has to work. Please I can't do this alone...

I grabbed anything that I think would help as I rushed out of the bathroom. I heard quiet footsteps come from her room; it wasn't her. It can't be, she was unconscious. I stop running and slowly creep towards her room, someone else could be in there and I wasn't going to risk sprinting in there. I creep around the corner and a man appeared by her. Who the fuck is this. If he killed her, I'll kill this man with my bare hands.

I reach in my back pocket for my gun as the mysterious man speaks..

"I wouldn't do that if I were you, unless you'd like to end up like your father." What did he just say...

"The fuck did you just say..?" I was enraged yet cautious. Amethyst never liked living this life, it didn't mean she wasn't good at it. Amethyst was fucking horrifying when she needed to be meaning this guy has a lot of power. I could barely see him, it was nearly pitch black. He cut the lights off however, I could make out an outline. Him, a knife in his right hand and a gun in his left hand. It was quiet; all that I could hear was her blood dripping. I needed to help her. I slowly stepped towards her as I heard a gunshot fire. It was a warning shot.

"Step any closer and I kill her." I listened to him, I didn't care if I died but Amethyst... she can't die. She just can't. I froze, the gun still remained in my hands.

"Drop the gun. Now." Who does he think he is?

"Like hell I will." He must've forgot who I was. l can pull the trigger faster.

Another gunshot. It wasn't a warning shot.

I glance down as the bullet entered Amethysts leg. Her eyes shot open. She screamed in agony as the bullet went through, then glanced at her arms and noticed the deep gashes. All the pain and adrenaline made her faint. This fucker was going to die if it was the last thing I was going to do. I aim up slightly to the silhouette of his hand and pull the trigger. A bullet flew through his hand as the gun dropped to the floor. Who the hell was this.

"Make any, and I mean any sudden movements, I'll blow your fucking brains all over this room." That was putting it lightly.

I slowly backed up to the light switch, making sure to not turn my back on him. I flicked the lights on as I dropped the gun, tears slowly welled up in my eyes.

David Prescott was standing in front of me.
