Jane stopped as she passed Kitty's bedroom. None of the other queens were home, but it sounded like Kitty was talking to someone. She debated her options for a moment, but curiosity got the better of her, and she pressed her ear to the door. "I can't believe you said yes, I remember practising how to ask you out in the mirror" Jane pulls away from the door.

Knocking gently on the younger queens door, she waits for a response. A small squeal makes Jane panic, but she respects Kitty's privacy, and after a minute, a response indicates that Jane is okay to enter. Doing so, she finds Kitty sitting on her bed with a book on her lap. "Is everything okay?" Jane inquires. Kitty nods and replies " yeah, everything is fine. You made me jump, that's all. I didn't realise anyone else was home" Jane nods and then hesitates. "Who were you talking to Kitty?" she inquires hesitantly. "Oh- um- I-" Kitty stumbles over her words, trying to form a sentence. "Kitty, is there someone else in here?" Jane asks carefully. "No!" Kitty insists. Jane looks at her. "There's no one here I promise Janey" Jane looks sceptical but accepts this. "Who were you talking to then?" she inquires. "Just myself y' know? Do you ever just act out scenarios in your head but like out loud?" Kitty asks, desperately hoping she isn't the only person to do this. Jane nods, she does this regularly. "Who were you talking to then? Well, pretending to talk to anyone?" Jane asks out of curiosity. Kitty looks away, clearly not sure about the reaction she's going to get from the truth. Jane sits down next to Kitty and embraces her. "You're clearly in love with someone Kitty. I don't care who it is as long as they're going to treat you right" Kitty shakes her head and whispers "If I tell you, promise you won't laugh or get mad?" Jane nods. "I promise Kitty I don't mind who it is, within reason obviously" Kitty takes a deep breath and whispers, so quietly it's almost inaudible "Anna". Jane squeezes the younger queen in a tight hug and smiles. "You didn't do a good job of hiding it y'know Kitty Cat?" she whispers and the younger queen blushes. "Was it that obvious?" Jane chuckles to herself. "Catie has been kicking Anne under the table to stop her from blurting it out. The only person who seems to be oblivious is Anna herself" Kitty blushes and buries her head in Jane's chest. "Oh my God, please end me right now" Kitty whispers." Are you going to tell Anna?" Jane asks. Kitty nods "if I want what I imagined to happen then I have to" she replies.
