Sunlight was shining through an apartment window of a young girl who was sleeping peacefully until it was interrupted by her phone ringing making her groan as she reaches over to grab it only to fall off her bed.
Making her let out a loud huff as she answered her phone "Hello" she said in a groggy voice "ASPEN!!" Yells a girl through the phone making Aspen pull the phone from her ear groaning before putting it back "quit yelling in my ear like you a white girl dying in a horror movie Alice " said Aspen.
"Whatever just get up and get dressed and get down here to work your late" said Alice making Aspen sigh but hang up and get up as well she then walks to her bathroom and gets in the shower once she out she does her hair by straightening it out again and then getting dressed and heads out her house to go to work.
Once she arrives to work she rushes in and clocks in walking up to the cash register sitting there waiting on people to walk in until she sees one of her best friends Kelly walk up to her "Hey girl" says Aspen. "Hey" Kelly says looking down "what wrong you got that look on your face that shows you're upset?" Asks Aspen.
"It's just my Dad I found out he's sick and I don't know how to deal with it or how I can help" said Kelly "oh honey it'll be okay all you can do is be there for him and love him" says Aspen hugging Kelly "Thanks A I bet your dad appreciates you just form what you said" said Kelly making Aspen stiffen.
Flashback
"Again" says the man with dark skin and a buzz cut which the 5 year old girl then forms a force field with her hands making it smaller in a plasma ball and throwing it at a practice dummy and the head flying right off.
Young Aspen felt so proud she turned and looked at father to see if he had a look of a proudness but he didn't he looked more bored than anything "aren't you proud of me father I hit the target" said/asked Aspen making the man look down at her with a blank expression.
He gives her no answers just sighs and shakes his head at her and walks away making the young girl look down.
Flash back over
"Yeah you could say that" Aspen says with a fake smile as they stop hugging each other and get back to work which felt like forever to Aspen after a good three hours the place started to get busy which was irritating enough for Aspen after a few hours later she was finally off of work.
It was dark out on her walk home but that's the way she liked it so she could look at the stars and the moon as she walked home as she got to her apartment as she walked up to her door she stopped noticing something different about her door using her advanced hearing to listen in on anything that could be in her house she heard breathing making her narrow her eyes.
"I know you hear me Hart" Says a man through the door making Aspen let out an irritated sigh and walk into her house "You know a normal person would just call or wait at the door not just sit in somebody's house" Says Aspen "Well I'm not normal and neither are you" Says the man walking out of a dark corner of the living room with an eyepatch "What do you want Furry?" she asks with an eye roll "S.H.I.E.LD needs your help" Furry states.
"What do I have to do"
