Sophie's POV

"hi, can i talk with you really quick upstairs?" I went to the living room and stood by the doorframe looking at Isaac

"of course, what's going on?" Isaac replied walking over to me

"this isn't easy to say, just know that i love and care about you, which is why i came to you and wanted your thoughts on the situation" I prefaced holding onto his hand as we head up the stairs to my room

"ok? now you're scaring me" Isaac looked concerned

As we entered my room, we sat on my bed and I immediately held his hands before taking a deep breath.

"Jackie wants to move back to New York" I hesitated before looking up at Isaac to see that he was shocked

"w-what? why? are you planning on moving back with her?" Isaac's voice cracked while asking the third question, I could tell he was tearing up.

"that's what I wanted to talk to you about... I don't want to move back, but you understand that I want to be with Jackie right?" I asked

"of course I do. obviously I don't want you to move back, but if you really want to... I'll support your decision." Isaac replied not breaking eye contact

"I don't know, Jackie leaves tomorrow with uncle George and Danny so i don't have much time to decide."

"I'll leave you to sort out your thoughts because I know how serious this is, but just know that you should think about how this will affect you alone. Don't think about Jackie, your uncle, me, or anyone else, think about yourself." Isaac advised to which I nodded and gave him a peck on the cheek before he walked out.

I have a lot to think about...

Isaac's POV

I woke up the next morning with a heavy heart. I hadn't spoken to Sophie since I left her room last night. Obviously I want her to stay, but I have to respect whatever decision she makes. Walking out I see Alex walking up the stairs with a tray of food.

"yo Alex, how's your head" I jokingly asked

"stop, the hang over is crazy right now" Alex laughed

"what's with the food?" I asked intrigued

"apology breakfast for Jackie" Alex replied holding out the food

"oh i see" how am I gonna tell him that Jackie's left. I mean maybe JUST maybe Sophie stayed and convinced Jackie to stay too. Is that wishful thinking...

"I'll come with you" I offered

"you just wanna see Sophie"

"you have no idea" I'm out here going crazy wondering if she's still here.

walking over to their room I feel my heart pounding like crazy. knocking on the door and hearing no response already wasn't a good sign.

"hey you, it's m-" Alex opens the door to see not one but two perfectly made beds with no one in them.

My heart dropped. Alex quickly put the tray down on a table and rushed over to her bed seeing a note on her bed.

"I'm sorry. - J" that's all the card said.

Alex suddenly stormed out of the room. Following him I see him walking into Cole's room.

"What did you do?" Alex accused throwing the note to Cole.

"what?" Cole questioned still groggy from being woken up.

"where is Jackie?!" Alex slowly got irritated
