"So how's life after everything?" He asked.
We are currently sitting in the back of his Jeep with the door opened.
"Better, definitely." I spoke.
"Mom and Dad I think are the perfect parents to raise us; that lack that Ann and I had became fulfilled especially with dad's love and guidance." I answered.
"Thanks to you." I smiled and he did the same.
He leaned back and took out a spliff from a metal box with a Spanish name on it, a famous brand of weed in Mexico.
He lighted it and placed it at his mouth.
"You know that I still love you." He suddenly said.
I looked at him directly before looking away.
Shelly did tell yuh!
"I still love you too." I spoke.
"Mi know." He blew out the smoke through his nostrils.
"Nuh badda wid the proud thing now." I laughed and he smirked.
"What do you think would have happened if I kept the baby?" I asked.
"Mi nuh know." He replied.
