Twenty-eight

Michael
Luna and Stella walked into the medical room, "Hey girls, say hello to Candy." I smiled and they climbed onto the bed. Luna and Stella stared at Candy with huge smiles on their faces, "Wanna hold her?" I asked and Stella nodded. I laid Candy in her small arms and Stella kissed her small head, "Hi Candy." She smiled. Luna sat next to Stella in complete silence, "Luna, you wanna hold your sister?" I asked. "I don't wanna hurt her mummy...." She trailed off and Stella handed Candy back to me, "Then let's hold her together." I smiled and she scooted over to me, I put my arm around her shoulder and laid Candy in her arms, I put my hands on her arms and kissed her head. "See, you won't hurt Candy." I grinned and she smiled, "She's pretty mummy." She whispered. "Like you and Stella." I smiled.

Calum
Candy's cries echoed through the baby monitor and Michael sat up, "No, no baby. Go back to sleep beautiful." I smiled and got up, walking into the nursery and picking up Candy, bouncing her in my arms and wrapping her up in her pink blankie. Her cries turned into suttle whimpers and kissed her head, "You wanna sleep with me and mummy?" I whispered and she just stared up at me, I walked into the bedroom and saw Michael sitting up, "Some people are a wittle tiwed tonight." I cooed as he yawned. He held his arms out and I laid Candy down in his arms, he laid down and put Candy on his chest, rubbing her small back and singing softly as she fell back asleep. I laid next to him and held his hand, rubbing it slightly with with my thumb and watching Michael fall asleep with Candy on his chest.

Michael
"M-mummy." I heard Luna whimper and I opened my eyes, becoming more alert when I saw her crying. "Baby girl what's wrong?" I asked as I sat up and cradled her in my arms, "Bad dream mummy." She sobbed and I rocked her back and forth, rubbing her back and her sobs turned into sniffles. "C-can I sleep with you and Papa tonight?" She sniffled and I nodded, laying down and she got under the comforter, cuddling into my flannel covered chest. I started singing softly as I played with her hair.

I saw she was fast asleep and I kissed her forehead, falling asleep as well.
