Driving down the road talking to her stepmother on the phone, Alexis Fisher took in her new surroundings and the new place she would be calling home.

"I promise you will like it there. I think the change will be good for you." Rebecca Fisher, my stepmom, told me.

"I know you think that, but I haven't seen mom in years, and I don't even know these people. What if they kill me?"

"They're not going to kill you, Lexi. And I'm one phone call away."

"I know, but that's not good enough. I want to be with you."

"I know, sweetie. I wish you could have stayed too, but your mom got custody after Matt." Bex said both of us going silent at the name of my dad.

"I think I'm here. I'll talk to you later." I smiled, even though she couldn't see me.

"Okay, I love you, and let me know if you see any hot boys."

"I will. I love you too." I chuckled, hanging up.

"Damn." I whispered, looking at this big house I'm going to be calling home.

"Lexi." I hear my mom scream, running out of the house with four people following her.

"Ugh, god, kill me now." I groaned, snaking my head off my steering wheel.

Putting on a fake smile, I get out of the car and meet my mom halfway.

"Hi mom." I smiled, hugging her back.

"I'm so happy you're here. There are so many things I want to tell you. There's so many things I want to show you." Mom squealed.

"Rose, let her breathe. "You have enough time to show her everything." A man said pulling my mom off me.

"You must be Alexis. I'm Ward." The man said holding his hand out, waiting for me to shake it, which I didn't plan on doing.

"Be nice, Lexi; you're family now." Mom smacked me on the arm. I just scoffed, shaking his hand.

"This is Wheezie." Ward pointed at the girl with black hair and glasses, who just sent me a shy smile. I smiled back.

"This is Sar—"

"Hi, I'm Sarah, your new sister, and I can't wait to get to know you." Sarah interrupted Ward, pulling me into a hug. After seeing my facial expression, Ward literally had to pry her off of me.

Suddenly, I'm just now realizing that a pair of eyes have been on me this whole time, watching my every move.

Looking up, I see the hottest guy I have ever seen in my life. Tall, dark blonde hair, blue eyes. Even after our eyes locked, he still didn't look away; he just stared at me with a smirk. I was the first to look away, blushing. I couldn't hold his stare anymore.

"And this is Rafe." Ward, after finally getting Sarah off of me, pointed at the blue-eyed boy, who was still staring at me with a smirk.

"Lexi." I smirked, shaking his hand.

Well, this just got a whole lot better.
