"Where ma best fren at" I heard a familiar voice said and I look up to see Tj looking around for someone but it wasn't me for sure since he didn't know I was coming today.
" I'm here lil man"I heard Lorenzo said coming from the back." Enzo" Tj said excited. They did a lil hand shake with Tj giggling then the male picked him up.
When did they become besties?
"How was school"
" It was great! Today I had fries and chicken"he said causing Lorenzo to laugh a little. "I wasn't asking bout food" he said and Tj looked at him a bit confused.
"But that was the good part" he said and I laughed at that cause it's always bout food with Tj. They must have heard me cause they both turned to look at me finally acknowledging my presence.
"So you ain't gonna show yo big bro some love?"
The shock looked on Tj's face was priceless."GENN" he screamed wiggling his way out of Lorenzo's arm and bolted to me and I picked him up and gave him a kiss on the cheek."Hey bug"
"I missed you sooo much" he said giving me sloppy kisses all ova ma face causing me to chuckle. "I missed you too bug" I said as he continued to kiss my face.
"Alright that's enough kisses" I said putting him down and took a good look at him.
"Look at you all grown and shit" and he giggled a little. I'm glad Tj ain't nothing like me and I hope it continue to be like that in the future. I know for sure that he's gonna be one hell of a gentleman.
"Where's Matt?" I asked," He went to pick up Lia from her grandma's house" Lorenzo said making his way over to us and I just nodded in response. Lia is Matt's daughter, she looks just like Tara tho I have only seen her once when I first came from prison.
"Big bro I'm hungry" Tj said pulling my hand, "There ain't no fast food restaurant in the area and I don't have my car so you'll have to wait till Matt get back" I replied.
"But I want it now" he said throwing him self on the floor. "Stop that and get yo ass up" I said while he continued to throw a tantrum. "But I don't want to waittt "
"Nigga stop that shit fore I knock yo ass out" I said rasing my voice a little. " But I want it NOW" he shouted as if he was the most hungry person in the world and I know damn well the nigga probably ate something before he came here. " Nigga get yo ass up I'm not play with you" I said getting irritated.
He still was behaving the most way so I was bout to pop his ass when Lorenzo suddenly stepped in and pick him up. "Genesis chill "
"Nigga don't tell me what to do, he 10 years old acting like 3"
"I get it, but that not how you handle things", I hissed my teeth at that. He then whisper something to Tj and started smiling, "Really"
"Mhmm, but only if you behave" Lorenzo said "Okay" Tj said then ran off to God knows where leaving just me and Lorenzo there.
He just stood there staring at me .
LORENZO's POV
" What you look at?" he said trying to scare me or something but I wasn't scared or intimidated by him, but there was just something bout him being angry that I just found so sexy.
" Is you a faggot or something nigga? Why is you staring at me like am your last meal"
And he just had to use that word. I just shock my head and walked off making my way to the back. Yea, I was gay, not bi, not curious, gay and it's not really a secret but I hate being called out of my name.
I felt my phone vibrating in my pocket, I took it out and saw that my sister was calling.
"Hello" I answered, "Enzo your getting off soon right "
I look at the time and saw that it was 3:48p.m." Yea, I get off in an hour, what's up"
"Could you pick up something for me on the way home I'm starving"
I frown "so why can't you get it yourself? You have a car" I hear her grown on the other side of the phone.
"I would but Neo borrowed it cause his car is being fixed but he should be getting it back by Saturday"
"So why don't you call him instead"
"Nigga I already did but he wouldn't be able to make it here before 7p.m so I call you"
"And am suppose to care"
"Nigga stop playing with me" she said frustrated and I just laughed.
"Ask nicely"
I heard shuffling and her clearing her throat,"My dearest older brother Enzo, would be so kind to buy your younger sister something to eat before she die of starvation?"
"Mhmm Sure"
"Thank you so much. This is why I love you" I rolled my eyes.
"I'm hanging up"
"Bye bye" she said as I ended the call and started to clean up .
After 20 minutes I was done cleaning when I heard the bell ring indicating that someone has enter the parlor. I when around there an saw that Matt was back "hey Enzo would you mind bringing the two of them to get something to eat" he said pointing to Genesis and Tj." You can check out early"
"Fine by me"I said " Thanks, bye guys"
" Bye Matt" Tj said waving.
" Lets go then" I said walking out with the two of them behind me. We got in the car and I drove off.
"Where to" I ask them"mmm....burger king" Tj said. "And where do you want to go " I asked Genesis." Anywhere is fine" he said playing something on his phone.
When we arrived I went inside and order for everyone after calling Amara. After I got through I went outside and saw Genesis talking a female looking irritated .
" So you weren't gonna tell me you was back?"
"I'm not obligated to "
"I thought we had something going on"
"Well clearly you thought wrong"
"I knew I shouldn't have fuck with a hood nigga" she said then chuckled "don't eva call back ma phone" she said walking off. "Wasn't planning to" He said back.
" What was all that bout" I asked when I reach near him. "Mind your business" he said walking back to the car. I just did as I was told, tho I can tell pretty much what happen.
When I got in the car I gave them their food and the rest the ride to Matt's was quiet expect for Tj making comment about how good the burger is. After I drop them off, I went straight home. As soon as I pull in the drive way the front door burst open and Amara running to my car. "FINALLY"
When I got out she grab the bag from out of my hand "damn couldn't even greet me first?"
"Sorry but a bitch is hungry" she said running back inside and I just chuckled cause she reminds me of Tj sometimes when it come to food. It started to feel a little chilly so headed inside as well.
