as soon as my alarm went off, I climbed out of bed even though I didn't want to, but I needed to cause today was the big day. I walked to my walk-in closet and grabbed a off the shoulder navy blue ripped end sweater and a corset like top with the strings in the middle pairing it with dark wash jeans and black thigh high heel boots. I walked over to the shower and turned it on as I brushed my teeth waiting for the water to warm up as soon as the water was warm enough, I stripped out of my lingerie throwing it in the basket. I stepped in and could feel the warm water cascade on my body down my back. I did my daily routine once I was done I turned the water off and grabbed a fluffy white towel and wrapped it around me and dried myself off including my hair.

I then grab my hair dryer and start to dry my long brown hair so that I can put it in a high ponytail with three braids into the ponytail. as soon as I was done with everything I sprayed myself down as the final touch. I walked into room naked grabbing my outfit for the day adding in my charm bracelet that I was given as a baby and an arrow necklace and rose gold hoop earrings.

As I finished up by making my bed and grabbing my plate from yesterday, I grab my phone and head downstairs to put the plate away.

As I descended the stairs, my phone buzzed, signaling a new message from the man I had spent the night with. I couldn't help but wonder how he had gotten hold of my number, but my curiosity got the better of me, and I tapped on the notification to read his words.
The message revealed his knowledge of my search for Zach, his boss, and his probing question about my intentions. His claim of being sneaky and having mysterious ways elicited an eyeroll from me, especially coupled with the endearment "darling."
Determined to maintain my composure, I crafted a sharp reply, asserting my need for information without divulging more than necessary. With a hint of sarcasm, I made it clear that our motives were none of his concern and that I wasn't fond of his pet names.
After hitting send, I proceeded to prepare my breakfast, a satisfying combination of a bacon hashbrown burrito paired with frozen waffles topped with strawberries and syrup. With my meal ready, I settled into the living room, ready to enjoy my food in peace.
Just as I was about to take my first bite, my phone rang, and I noticed his name flashing on the screen. Without hesitation, I answered the call, prepared for whatever conversation lay ahead. Aria: "Where the hell is Zach, you son of a bitch? "Man: "Whoa, no need to get feisty, darling. You know I've got the inside scoop."Aria: "Cut the crap. I need answers now, or so help me..."Man: "You really think you can threaten me? You were the one begging for more just last night. "Aria: "Don't push me, you arrogant asshole. Tell me where he is before I lose my damn mind.""You don't want to know what I'm capable of doing. I have connections, while you guys don't. So, you really want to test me?" I shot back, a smirk playing on my lips as I pushed back against his dismissive attitude. The power play between us intensified with each word. "What are you going to do?" his voice came through, the challenge implicit in his tone. The tension crackled as we danced on the edge of a confrontation, each of us daring the other to make the next move. With a calculated calmness, I leaned in, my voice dropping to a dangerous whisper. "Let's just say I have friends in very high places. Friends who can make your life a living hell with a snap of their fingers," I threatened, the weight of my words hanging heavy in the air. Silence greeted my proclamation, a silent pause filled with unspoken implications. I could almost hear the gears turning in his mind, the realization dawning on him that he had underestimated me. "Are you willing to take that risk?" I challenged; my gaze unwavering as I laid down the gauntlet. The ball was now in his court, the game of cat and mouse reaching a critical juncture. His response was laced with defeat, a begrudging admission of my dominance in this game of wits. "Fine, I'll send you the damn information via text message," he relented, the curse slipping out in a moment of resignation. A rush of triumph surged through me, a victorious smile curling at the corner of my lips. I had gotten my way, bending him to my will with a mix of cunning strategy and unyielding determination. The power dynamics had shifted, and I had emerged victorious in this verbal spar. "Well, now, that wasn't so difficult, was it?" I quipped with a smirk, relishing the subtle victory in our verbal joust. But as he abruptly hung up, a laugh bubbled up from deep within me, the sound a mix of amusement and satisfaction. It seemed I had indeed managed to ruffle his feathers.True to his word, a message pinged on my phone, revealing the crucial details: his location, the address, everything I needed to make my move.
A triumphant smile tugged at the corners of my lips as I basked in the afterglow of my success. With the information secured, the pieces were falling into place. It was time to orchestrate a little visit to Mr. Zach, a meeting that held the promise of tipping the scales further in my favor. And if things didn't go as planned, well, I was more than prepared to take matters into my own hands, consequences be damned.
