Zachs Pov:

as the figure walked into the room with her gun drawn, I couldn't help but wonder who this bitch who thinks she's all that is.

Just as I am about to say that I have no idea what's going on, gunshots are heard, prompting me to draw my gun just in case. The door bursts open, and as the figure walks into the room with her gun drawn, I couldn't help but wonder who this woman, exuding confidence, thinks she is."Who are you, and why did you interrupt my meeting?" I demand, gun pointed at her. She simply laughs at the sight of my weapon, which baffles me. "My name is Aria Grace Parker, daughter of Landon Erick Parker," she says with a smirk. The room gasps at her revelation, and suddenly, everything clicks for me - she was the respected mafia king's daughter before my father took him down in that war. I had no idea he had a daughter."I didn't know he had a daughter, so why are you here, Aria?" I inquire. She turns to me, her expression serious, and echoes my question. "I'm here because I need to talk to you about joining my mafia gang to rescue my father and exact your revenge," she states, taking a seat and locking eyes with me.I burst into uncontrollable laughter, tears streaming down my face, as I watch her anger rise. "You want my help to find your father after mine took him? Desperate much? Why not plead for my assistance?" I jibe, a smirk playing on my lips. In a fit of rage, she shoves me against the wall, her face flushed with fury."I will never beg to anyone, especially not an asshole like you. I'd rather face the risks alone than stoop to begging for your help," she spits, her words hitting me like a slap. As others rush in, a younger girl, likely her age, and an older man who seems to be her father, try to defuse the tension."Aria, calm down. We need his help," the man urges, closing the distance to her. With a cocky smirk, I goad her further, "Yeah, Aria, calm the hell down and beg for help, cause deep down, you know you need me," I taunt, a wide grin on my face. She readies herself to strike, but the man and her friend hold her back as she unleashes her fury, "You want to go, bitch? I can kick your ass anytime, anywhere. And you'll have to live with the fact that a girl handed it to you," she seethes with unbridled anger. I chuckle at her words, confident in my abilities, "Yeah, sure. I highly doubt you could take me down anytime, anywhere. It's more like I'd be the one kicking your ass," I retort, the smirk still lingering on my face. She breaks free from her friends' grasp and strides towards me with determination."Prove it then. Meet me at my gym tomorrow morning, and we'll settle this once and for all" she states and snaps her fingers for everyone to follow her and they follow her out of the room one by one and I sit there questioning on what I just agreed to but knowing that I will win this so that I don't have to see her face even if she is hot she's a bitch at the end of the day.My anger boiled over, and I growled at the audacity of this woman. "I'll be there, and mark my words, I'll teach you a lesson you won't soon forget. I'll come out on top in this petty squabble," I declared, my voice dripping with determination. Laughter echoed from the hallway as she retorted, "Sure thing, tough guy. I'll send you the address. See you there, you arrogant jerk." she yells back at me.

yeah, I'll see you aria and I'll be the one to kick your ass I thought to myself.

arias Pov:

"Yeah, but even if he didn't agree, I'd go at it alone before I stoop to begging a man for help. That's the last thing I'd ever do," I assert stubbornly as we settle into the car that we can call our ride. Mason shoots me a brief, knowing glance before shaking his head. "Aria, we both know you wouldn't beg. But at the same time, you know damn well that I wouldn't forgive myself if you went there alone. Neither would your father. He wouldn't want you going in solo just because some dude won't help you," Mason reasons, his tone firm yet reassuring. I roll my eyes, acknowledging the truth in his words, aware that both Mason and my father understand my independent spirit. "Alright, can we go now? We've been here for a while, and I'm tired and hungry. Mason, I also need a drink after that encounter with that douchebag," I sigh, attempting to shake off the drama and stress. Mason nods in agreement, instructing the driver to head to my favorite restaurant, sparking anticipation with thoughts of their delectable food and drinks. Ellie interjects with words of encouragement, "I hope this all works out because I know how much you want your father back. Since he's all you've got, aside from Mason, I'm confident you'll put him in his place, Aria. I know you so well, my dear friend," she says, offering a comforting touch on my shoulder. I smile and nod gratefully, acknowledging her understanding of my stubborn and hot-headed nature, whispering a quiet thank you. As Ellie turns back to her phone, likely engrossed in games, I reflect on her unwavering support and look forward to the moment I confront him.
