The Mafias Revenge

chapter 1. the start of the war

" Mason thank you for joining us" the mafia king says with a smile as they both sit down for a meeting.

As Mason sits down he goes and starts asking why he was summoned. But before he even gets a word out the mafia king goes on to what he needs to say.

" I asked you to come here cause I need someone to do me a favor and I asked you cause you are my right hand man. I trust you with my life and my children's life as well. " He states pausing cause what he has to say next really hurts him to do but he has to. He then sighs taking his hands and rubbing his face cause he's very stressed and hopes he's making the right decision.

Mason nods his head still confused as to why he's here he goes once more to ask. " so my king why am I here if I may ask?" The king then stands up before he utters the words before he changes his mind.
" I need you to take aria and keep her safe the enemy would use her against me if they found out about her she's the mafias princess for one thing so I need her safe along with her brothers who are also in a safe area with my men I have a suspicion there's gonna be a war" the mafia king states as he walks towards Mason. Mason looks him in the eyes and sees stress among his eyes along with defeat if they found out.
Mason nods his head before he replies the words the kind had hoped he would say.

" iii will take her and keep her safe until she's old enough to understand and even then I'll still protect her my king" he says stuttering but then Bows before the mafia king as a sign of respect. The king nods his head, greatful for the help to keep his daughter safe when he knows he can't since a war may be upon them. He holds back his tears and Whispers faintly " thank you Mason I owe you one and please protect her I don't want her to be in any danger she didn't choose this life I want her to have a good life" the mafia king states and Mason nods his head in understanding he would do the same for his kids if he had any that is. Mason goes to speak since silence has fallen upon them. " so when do I have to leave with aria"? The mafia king sighs before responding " before morning you both will leave tonight as much as I don't want this to happen I have to so what's best for my daughter and sons" the king states and Mason nods his head in understanding before walking over and laying his hand on the kings shoulder. " I promise you my king I'll protect aria with all that I have even if I die protecting her" he states fully meaning what he stated cause he really did mean it aria is a very important asset and the mafia kings only daughter.

The king nods his head patting masons shoulder. " that's all I ask of you Mason and I will be forever grateful for your commitment to the mafia I just hope this war ends soon so I can have my children back and in a safe environment without worry cause once this war is done so is the mafia everyone here deserves to be free" the king states and mason nods his head agreeing cause it's been going on forever.

As the silence falls upon them a loud bang and yelling can be heard. " Where under attack" is screamed into the night the king and Mason stand up and stand guard as the king yells at Mason. " go get aria and leave me and my men will handel this and that is an order" the king says drawing his gun ready to protect his mafia kingdom. Mason looks at his king once more before nodding his head and pulling his gun out ready to defend himself. Loud shots from guns could be heard as Mason bolts down the hallway to arias room hoping he isn't too late in saving her.

Mason runs with all his might down the dark hallway with only his gun light to shine light so he can see as he hears screams and gun shots ring around the large mansion knowing he wished he could help but his job was to protect his mafia kings daughter with all that has.

As he runs he hears footsteps chasing after him and so he speeds up almost to arias rooms he thinks to himself before he hears yells coming from behind him. " Hey you stop show us where the mafias kings children are or we shoot" a man screams but Mason decides to shoot instead of showing him where the daughter is.
" over my dead body you bastards" Mason screams and before the men could react Mason starts shooting at the few men who dared to follow him and he hears screams of pain and body's hitting the floor and one yelling to leave and he goes back to running before more men show up. As he reaches arias room he hears her crys and walks towards her grabbing her from her crib calming her down. " it's okay little angel I'm here no one will ever hurt you I promise you" masons says calming her tears as he grabs her stuff to leave. He climbs out the window knowing it wouldn't be safe inside and heads towards the car getting aria in her car seat and getting in himself in the driver's seat speeding off into the night sighing in relief. He grabs his phone to make a call to a alie who owes him and his king a huge favor plus they are all working together. " hello? What do you want?" A tired voice says over the phone. " Hey Jake I need a huge favor from your leader it's an emergency and can't wait until morning" Mason says which perks up the dudes interests and so he asks. " what so you need? I'll get the leader to handel it affective immediately" he says to Mason and hears movements as he replies. " the mafia is under attack the king might not live and I have his daughter" masons says scared of what the future might hold hoping that the king survived but chances are slim.

" I'll get the leader to help I'm running to his room as we speak I'm really sorry Mason didn't think this would happen" Jake says over the phone knowing Mason is just as stressed as everyone will be.

As he waits for Jake to find the leader he can't help but think what the future will bring and how when his daughter finds out she might want revenge.

He sure does know the mafia will get revenge one way or another and he will be by her side till the very end protecting her until his last breath as he promised his king.

"Hello?" Mason hears on the phone after a brief silence. " Hey Andy it's me Mason from killer mafia we just got attacked and I have no idea If the king is alive and I have his daughter I need some help Andy" Mason pleads over the over the phone hoping Andy will help since he's friends with his boss and they are on good terms with one another.
He hears a sigh from the other side of the phone before he hears what the leader has to say. " alright I'll help you out since aria is like family along with her brother as well you know where to find our headquarters right?" Mason nods his head not realizing that the leader can't see him. " Yes sir I know exactly where it is I'll be there soon" Mason replies feeling good knowing he's going to get help and it won't be only him. " alright I'll tell the guards at the gate that we are expecting you so they won't open fire when you arrive. I'll also have a room made for you and little aria and we will speak more on where you will be living permanently with guards" masons sighs in relief and runs his hand through his hair relieved from the stress. Sighing he replies, " Thank you I can't thank you enough it means the world to me and aria along with her father knowing him he'd be thanking you constantly" Mason says through the phone. A sigh comes through the receiver before a low reply comes through. " I know he'd be very happy and proud that you are helping him in a dire need I hope you know that cause aria and his son mean the world to him" after he heard those words he felt better Knowing he is doing the right thing after a brief silence the phone call ended and for the first time he knew things where gonna be as alright as they can. He then looks back at a sleeply aria and smiles at the sleeping little baby in the back. "Things will be okay I promise to protect you aria" mason said out loud in a whisper so he wouldn't wake aria up.
